We were lucky enough to go during their sale and got these beautiful tower poplars for an amazing price thanks to the extra 20% off (but even at regular price, they're still a great deal). The ladies were great. Thanks everyone.

Great place, friendly staff, good prices, and right by my house! Bought this cute little guy for $3.99 as I was biking and couldn't carry much, but I will have to go back with a vehicle on the weekend; there was some tempting multi-flower sunflowers and sooo much more?

Edit: have been back a couple times both on my bike and in a vehicle, I absolutely love this place! Have most of my garden greens in place now, good prices and all grown locally which is very nice since you often (usually) get 2 or 3 veggie sprouts in each pot/starter as opposed to always just getting 1 at other commercial operations (who doesn't love freebies?). For example, I bought a 4 pack starter of super sweet 100 tomatoes for $2.99 and now have 7 of these lovely tomatoes planted.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Lakeshore Greenhouse, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. My wife and I have been loyal customers for several years, investing thousands of dollars in their products. While we have generally been satisfied with our purchases, our recent encounter with the owner left us feeling frustrated and disrespected.

Last year, we bought a significant number of shrubs from Lakeshore Greenhouse, and unfortunately, only two of them did not survive. Adhering to the warranty instructions provided, we patiently waited for the return period to address the issue. However, our interaction with the owner, who happened to be the person in charge, quickly escalated into a negative experience. She displayed a surprising lack of professionalism, being impolite and disrespectful towards us as customers. She berated us and we will not return.

One of the main issues we encountered during our discussion with the owner was her refusal to listen. Instead of allowing us to explain the situation, she repeatedly cut us off and failed to show any interest or understanding. It felt as though she simply wanted to get the conversation over with, and getting our rightful store credit became a tiresome ordeal. The entire experience left a sour taste in our mouths and made us question our loyalty to Lakeshore Greenhouse.

While Lakeshore Greenhouse may have a history of providing satisfactory products, our recent encounter with the owner's rude and disrespectful behavior has left us disillusioned. It is essential for any business, particularly in the greenhouse industry, to prioritize customer satisfaction. Regrettably, Lakeshore Greenhouse failed to meet these expectations, and I cannot, in good conscience, recommend it as a top choice for shoppers seeking pleasant customer experiences.

Customers should feel valued and respected when dealing with any business, and unfortunately, Lakeshore Greenhouse fell short in this regard. It is my hope that they take steps to address these issues and improve their customer service moving forward. Until then, I would advise potential customers to explore other options that prioritize excellent service and a respectful approach to customer interactions.

The white hair lady is the perfect example of “age has nothing to do with wisdom”. She has an attitude problem and doesn’t know how to treat people. She keeps yelling at customers and is so full of herself. I thought she might have been having a bad day at first and wasn’t going to put a review but the moment I went through the earlier reviews , it was clear that she possesses a very rude nature. Only go here if you like to get insulted and have no self-respect.

CAUTION ⚠️ ⛔️ : Tree Damage Caused by LAKESHORE’s CHOICE Fertilizer

I am extremely disappointed and dismayed by the severe damage caused to my tree after using the LAKESHORE’s CHOICE Fertilizer. What was meant to nourish and enhance my tree's health instead resulted in significant harm and distress.

On top, I am deeply disappointed by the unprofessional and disrespectful behavior exhibited by the owner of Lakeshore Garden Centre when I voiced my concerns. Rather than addressing my valid points and engaging in a constructive conversation, the owner responded with aggression and began yelling at me. This encounter has left me shocked and disheartened, especially considering my previous loyalty to their business.

I used to rely on Lakeshore Garden Centre for all my gardening needs, including soil and plants. However, after this unpleasant experience with the owner, I have made the decision not to return to their establishment. I strongly encourage others to consider alternative options as well.

If you value polite and attentive customer service, Lakeshore Garden Centre is not the place to go. I was appalled by the owner's lack of professionalism and the unnecessary aggression directed towards me for simply expressing my concerns. The encounter was so unpleasant that I can still hear the echoes of her yelling in my ears.

It is unfortunate when a business fails to prioritize customer satisfaction and resorts to such disrespectful behavior. I hope that Lakeshore Garden Centre takes this feedback seriously and reevaluates their approach to customer interactions.

Following the instructions provided, I applied the LAKESHORE’s CHOICE Fertilizer to my tree with the hope of promoting growth and vitality. However, shortly after application, I noticed the leaves starting to wither, curl, and turn brown. It became evident that my tree was experiencing fertilizer burn, a condition caused by POOR QUALITY FERTILIZERS.

The damage inflicted upon my tree was undeniable and disheartening. The branches started to droop, and the overall appearance of the tree deteriorated rapidly. It is distressing to witness the negative impact of a product that was intended to support and nurture my tree's well-being.

I must caution others to exercise extreme care and caution when using and if possible avoiding all together the LAKESHORE’s CHOICE FERTILIZER . It appears that the formula or application guidelines are not properly formulated for all tree species or may require more precise measurements to avoid detrimental effects. I strongly advise conducting thorough research and seeking expert advice before using this fertilizer on any valuable trees as LAKESHORE GARDEN CENTRE FAILED TO PROVE THEIR EXPERTISE. THEY HAVE LOST MY TRUST AND BUSINESS.

As a result of this unfortunate incident, my tree's health has been compromised, and its recovery is uncertain. I am now left with a damaged tree and a sense of regret for choosing the LAKESHORE’s CHOICE Fertilizer.

Overall, this experience has led me to question the quality and effectiveness of the LAKESHORE’s CHOICE Fertilizer, and I caution others to explore alternative options that prioritize the safety and well-being of their trees.

If you have to return any of your trees and shrubs during the month of June and happen to deal with the old lady, who I found out later is the owner, expect a terrible customer experience. She was set off that the tree did not make it through the winter. She was so rude and disrespectful, and you could tell her employees were embarrassed on her behalf. Shopping local has its limits.
