What a fantastic addition to downtown Courtenay. Tracy and Ankia have created such a beautiful shopping experience. It truly feels like being in a European shop. Every cheese and meat I've taken home from Laliberté has been delicious. Absolutely worth a visit when you are visiting the Comox Valley. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The best fromagerie in the valley - elegant, well appointed with a fantastic selection of cheeses, meats, olives, pickles and other items. My go to shop for charcuterie and cheese every time. The friendly and knowledgeable staff help with my selections every visit.

The selection here is frankly embarrassing, even for a small town. If you're a wealthy woman in her sixties with absolutely no taste, this spot is tailor made for you! I only stepped inside once, and cringe every time I accidentally remember I was here. There are so many good cheeses that exist in the world, this place is basically a middle finger to real cheesemongers everywhere.

This is also a great lesson in why you should either learn how to count before starting a business, or figure out what the term 'false advertising' means.

This shop is superb. An excellent curation of Canadian and global cheeses as well as a variety of other fine foods, condiments and pantry essentials. The proprietors and staff are highly knowledgeable with zero pretense.

I am French from Normandy and i moved to Canada 5 years ago and yes, I miss my home cheese and butter. This little shop opened recently and gave me acces to the best (hummmm unpasturized) treats and I can't thank them enough for existing. I recently moved and go a little less often but i hope the community will continue supporting them as I would continue drive miles to get my goodies ... the owner is super friendly and the quality of the products is .. like home... the Burrata is exactly what you would eat in Italy, i did spend 10 years of my life in Milan and .. i can't find any better than what they manage to import. This place is a little gem to cherish. THANK YOU!
