I’m convinced that the team here has a magical touch—my bouquet was so breathtakingly beautiful, it practically started singing “You Are My Sunshine” as I walked out the door. I half expected the daisies to break into a conga line, celebrating my newfound floral love. And the best part? Their service is smoother than a perfectly arranged bouquet. I swear the staff could convince a cactus to bloom if they just whispered the right compliments!

Friends surprised me with a bouquet this Christmas season. These flowers are both beautiful and fragrant, and every day more buds open. Lovely! Highly recommended.

Ordered a special delivery today for a friend. While the delivery was prompt, I feel a little confused and embarrassed by the bouquet that my friend received. Looking at the picture, you have to admit this bouquet looks exactly like a bouquet you would get from Save-On-Foods or Sobeys... Beautiful, but if thats what I wanted, I would have picked them up myself for about a third of the price. When I called, I had an inspo pic in mind from their website. When I asked the person on the phone to take a look on their site with me, she said that she did not have access to the computer? I am not sure what that meant exactly, but I did my best to try an explain what I wanted. "unique, tropical, bright pink, purple, lime green and orange". She did mention they did not have the Bird of paradise flower, but I assumed that she would get the vibe based off that flower alone. When my friend sent me this picture, I was like HUH! I thought ordering from a place like Laurel's would mean I would get something a little more special, but maybe my standards were too high. I wanted to send an email to the shop but unfortunately, there was no contact on the website. So here we are.

We hired Laurel’s as our wedding florist. We were quite impressed when we had our consultation as our consultant was knowledgeable, had great suggestions, and understood everything we requested. Communication with Laurel’s was efficient and they were able to quickly update our flower plan to accommodate our needs. On the wedding day, the flowers arrived and were setup on time and according to plan. However, we felt that our flower arch was pretty thin and the bride’s bouquet, which was initially described as an asymmetric “waterfall” of flowers and greenery, was just a slightly bigger version of the bridesmaids’ bouquets, which was more of a tight and rounder form. If you have somewhat unoriginal ideas for your flower needs, we would recommend confirming with them a couple times beforehand, otherwise very easy to work with and fantastic selection of flowers.

I always stop at Laurel's when I head to Whyte ave and every experience has been great! The staff are nice and the plants are reasonably priced. I've also bought single flowers too and the quality is very good. Great shop for gift shopping too and they have diverse options for all sort of price points. It's been years and I still have plants I've purchased at Laurel's. Highly recommend!

Lost a customer…..
We have been customers for years, BUT…
I liked the flowers used, the colours, but the bouquet was small for the price. $250. When I picked up the bouquet and boutonniere for our anniversary celebration, I was stunned at how small the bouquet was. I had sent in inspiration photos, and did not receive a call saying my bouquet would be 1/2 the size. When I spoke to the staff about my concern at pick up, I was met with defensiveness. Several times I was told that “we charge 30% for labour”. I didn’t have a problem with that. I did however have a problem with the lack of customer service. No one offered to do anything to solve the problem. I quickly realized that I would not get any customer service, so I left. I will never purchase flowers here again.

Their website was super easy to use and I liked the options to choose the moods and colours. they were really friendly and helped me when I called to ask about how their delivery service worked. the flowers were beautiful and they listened to my request to include specific flowers. I would definitely order from them again

Very cool flower shop that my wife and I visited just off Whyte Avenue. The shop is well lit and clean. There are flowers here of course but also other gift items. There is no close parking so keep that in mind. We enjoyed our visit.
