I took whole chicken here, the whole chicken is packed in a cover and they billed me for the water in the cover too. I never had such experience in other Meat shops in London. I strongly don’t recommend to get meat from here!

Update: I just came home the meat stinks yuck!! ?

Love the kofta and other sandwiches offered ready to eat, also love the selection of butchery and grocery available. My favourite memory is the owner insisting I try a freshly cooked sausage on the spot for no other reason than that he grinded and stuffed a particular mix of beef and lamb and just had to have someone enjoy it. Great choice for larger chicken thighs than available from the big box stores, cuts of lamb like the saddle that you need to see a butcher for and their Monte Carlo steaks which eat like prime rib at a much lower cost.

This is based on the last 10 years. I don't usually leave reviews based on one or two experiences. You can get middle Eastern food and spices as well as meats and ready made food from anywhere in London. Thankfully, there's no shortage of food. But my family and I have been returning to Laziz over and over for the last 10 years. We do this because the owner and his kids go out of their way to make us feel special. The owner knows his products and has helped me constantly figure out how to prepare certain meats and meals. They prepare the kibbeh and kufta neih (raw meat) for me so well that my family specifically asks me to bring with me every time I visit because it's so tasty. He always throws something extra in for me and the kids. I really appreciate that because he doesn't have to do anything. The variety is nice as well. I've had their shawarma and really like it and I love their fatayer and meat pizza. Not once did I experience rude customer service from any of the staff. Not once did I see the store or restaurant dirty. I have never had issues with their meat (I usually buy prepared kibbeh and kufta, marinated chicken either prepped on skewers or just the chicken, boxes of frozen burgers, bread and spices, and pizzas). They are a whole saler to restaurants as well, so even though the store may appear quiet at times, the product does move regularly. I saw people complain about food that was expired and I've had that happen to me buying meat from a large chain grocery store many times. But I think it's easier for people to push down a privately owned business working hard to keep going than fight with the big guys. It's pretty sad and disappointing to see.
Thank you to all the staff at Laziz meats that have made mine and my family's experience with you a very pleasant and unforgettable one. Here's to the next 10 years!

My favourite meat shop in london! Top quality and wide variety of meat and cold cuts. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. This shop is like a hidden gem! Lots of spices, frozen vegetables and food & cheese. If you have not tried this store, you’re missing out a lot!!

Very unique experience at the store. Rude and non empathetic owner. I had missed my bus so was waiting for the next one. Unfortunately it was cold so found shelter in this warm and unique store. Was just browsing the items. Should’ve have now that I think of it. I was asked if I needed help to which I said thanks for asking. But I am just waiting for my bus. The owner told me that I cannot wait in the store for the bus. I immediately excused myself and while I was waiting outside on the bus stop, a nice lady who was in the store at the same time and possibly heard this conversation offered me help. She told me she can drop me off if I need to go somewhere. Very bitter and sad that some people are miles away from empathy while others are so humble. Wouldn’t come to this store the next time.

HIDDEN GEM!! Customer care 10/10. Amazing fine meats and quality here. How have I know heard of this place sooner? Obviously people don't know what good service or food is. Because this is it. The owner is an amazing humble man with such knowledge of his products of the entire store. I will be back. Spoke with a young lady behind the counter, worked there for 14 years... thats good management. Keep your staff happy and the business will run its self I always say. Well here's a perfect example. What a great shop. So friendly. Amazing business. Keep it up!!!

Very great place to eat and for quality meats.
They have great combos they for a great price. I got a 14oz homemade angus burger with fries and a drink for $11.99. Burger was fresh and cooked on a fire grill. Very good.
Fries where great as well. Also have great hummus and other items. Must try the garlic sauce with the fries. If in London and hungry you must eat here..

I called local butcher around where I live to ask some basic questions, and they all seemed so disorganized. Except Laziz. I went there same day, and was totally pleasantly surprised. And I've been to plenty of butchers in my time. But the store was very well organized, clean, bright, inviting and filled w some much stuff. I could spend some good time just browsing. The guy who helped was very accommodating and while I was waiting for him to bring out some meat some other employee who entered in the store who did not know I was already being served asked if I was. Very good customer service. When I ordered all the meat I needed the guy that was helping me asked if I was walking, or driving home, and since I sd I was walking he said he was going to separate the bags so it would be easy to carry. All of this without having to prompt him. When I was about to be cashed out he apologized for the wait, even though there was hardly a wait. Very happy with this experience. Going back again for sure.
