We had a wonderful experience with Leaside Landscaping. Pierre handled the entire conversion of my tiny boring backyard into a delightful space that is a pleasure to use. From initial consultation and design, to excavation, to stonework, carpentry, landscaping and lighting, Pierre and his professional three-man crew handled everything. As small problems arose they were quickly identified, alternatives offered, and promptly dealt with, all within a reasonable timeframe and without excessive cost overruns. The workers were very personable and were open to making minor modifications on the fly without impacting costs.

Now, two years after completion, the back yard looks as terrific as the day it was done. I can't recommend them highly enough. You do, however, have to be flexible with start dates as the crews get incredibly busy in the Spring and Summer. Our job was delayed two months, but once underway, went like clockwork.

These guys do a pretty good job at cutting lawns but in other areas they are absolutely clueless. They seem to think that it is okay to Block loading zones so Garbage Trucks can't get in to service buildings in the East York area. Parking is difficult everywhere in Toronto but for 2 Tuesdays in a row they have blocked our Garbage area. This won't be happening next week because Parking Enforcement at the City of Toronto has been notified about this absolute disrespect & utter BS.

Leaside Landscaping just finished our backyard re-design and we are thrilled with the result. The construction process started exactly on the date we were promised and was seamless. Luckily, we were blessed with fine weather allowing the crews to also finish on time.

Crews were professional, hard-working, respectful and lots of fun! They often pointed out key issues along the way before it was too late (such as whether or not to install a drip line and sprinkler system for the turf).

During the design process, Pierre was easy to work with and was amenable to making adjustments as requested.

I am so grateful to be able to enjoy this updated, beautiful outdoor space (ditto for the dog!).

This is a company which thinks that it is god’s gift to Leaside, because it has been around a long time and people know its name in the community.
The reality is that their staff are poorly trained, and their supervisors are cocky and condescending to customers and other community members.
Just the latest case in point: they service a Leaside daycare, and at 8:15am on a weekday, right during drop off, they park in and overtake the entire parking lot. This forces parents dropping off kids to park on the street or on side streets and walk through traffic to access the daycare. Since when has customer service and common sense become so uncommon?

Can't recommend Pierre and his team enough. They restored an old flagstone patio and I am thrilled with the result. It looks amazing and after the torrential rains we had last week (July 2024) it drained perfectly. During the project Pierre kept in touch, his team arrived on time, left the worksite clean and tidy and completed the work quickly. Super happy!

During the project we had lots of questions, and Justin was always accessible and available to chat with us, most often dropping by to meet in person. Both the hardscaping and planting crews were excellent, as was Manny who did a beautiful job on the fencing.
