THIS PLACE IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT, They also call MECCEHHALAL. Ordered few beef for religious purpose. order was placed 2 months before the pick up date. they gave us the time to pick. when we showed up, we were told the meat not ready. they couldn't give use any satisfactory answer when asked, instead the owners became upset. asked us to leave the property. At last we got our deposit back. but we did not have any Meat we need for the purpose we ordered. One of us travelled from London Ontario to get meat.
the new management is very unprofessional, rude, or I'd say disgusting, the way they talked and behaved with us. Me and my group never had lowly, disgusting customer service in the past.
I have been a Loyal customer for many years. Len and Patti were the previous owner. they were very nice, professional and committed. we never had any problem with previous management.
i will not order/buy anything from this business again.......

We ordered 3 cows for Qurbani. They called us to pickup meat on July 12 at 7:00 pm. When we reached there, we have seen they are involved with misbehaving with other parties who ordered for Qurbani. We got confused and asked them if our meat ready. They looks angry and said meet not ready and they can make the delivery to a place at Toronto but meantime we lost our trust on them and ended up with getting refund of advance money and returned without meat. What a service!! They could call us in the noon to go next day. Never deal with them.
This is new management, previous management was super professional. Hate the new management who made a mess for 21 people and we consider it as religious assault.

Very friendly and helpful..
First time there they had just had a fire and were actually closed but Len still let us in and accomodated us as best he could.
This summer Lindsay experience a large blackout, again they had to close. We unknowingly went there and again, Len opened the door for us and sold us what we wanted. Good selection and I personally feel they have the BEST BACON around..

Truly a hidden gem and well worth a little detour and stop when you're in the area! Small store but lots of product to choose from. Things like the famous sausages, locally raised steaks, ground beef, chicken, cheeses, pies and a lot more locally represented things to buy. Patti is friendly and passionate about providing excellent service.

Terrible service by New management. Ordered cows for Qurbani purposes. They gave date to pickup meat today at 7 pm but they haven't done anything for us, rather they involved in bad behave with people. Ended up with getting refund and came back without meat. People traveled from London, Kitchener and different part of GTA. Never deal a qurbani matter with them

The best Butcher Shop in Kawartha Lakes. Patti is a nice woman and makes you feel welcome. They will cut you a steak to any size you would like which my husband takes full advantage of!! The store is reopening this month after the fire. I have been a customer for 5 years and will not go anywhere else for fresh meat! The sausages are very good, too, for summer BBQs.
