Our chickens, dogs, and plants are so fortunate to have Brian and everyone (and everything) at Lighthouse Feed & Garden. Not a Bowser resident, but will go out of my way to go here regularly - definitely my absolute favourite store and the only place I go for all my feed! Brian is honest and super knowledgeable; if he doesn't have your pup's preferred food, he can order it in and goes above and beyond to help out. Brian is amazing, and his store is, of course, just as great!

Serves a small community and has everything you need from good pet food to bird seed to really great and unusual bedding plants and shrubs. Worth your while to stop and take a look, plus really good customer service.

Friendly and very knowlageble owner. Up to date on pet foods and products from safety to allergies Brian knows his stuff- same goes for gardening supplies. Bonus that he is being Covid smart and having only one customer at a time in store. Protecting his customers and the community.

Brian is an amazing resource. He knows his product, and he knows his community. It has been my experience that if he can't provide you with what you need he will find someone, or somewhere that can.
My household has enjoyed great success with the resolution of so many issues, from problematic parasites in the aviary, canine food sensitivities, as well as great gardening solutions. All accomplished by natural, and cost effective means.

Nice little Garden and feed store in the middle of the quaint Bowser commercial centre. Prices are very reasonable and the service was great but the actual store can only handle one customer at a time which may put some people off. For us this was more than offset by the knowledge and helpfulness of the owner Brian. I'd encourage anybody who's visiting the Comox Valley to drop by and check it out.
