I have to say the prices for the little plants and artistic pots are great. The customer service and the gentle greeting doggo were awesome. Book an appointment on the website or wait in line. But, the wait is worth the experience to see little plants.

Hands down my favourite plant shop in yeg! It’s a cozy little spot with an amazing vibe. The variety and amount of plants there is incredible, along with pots, wall decor, and other little knick knacks. The plants are always very healthy and no pest issues. The owners are very knowledgeable, always happy to help and make you feel right at home with them! Plus they have the sweetest, most beautiful pup so you know it’s gotta be a good place!!

I was walking along Johnson St when I saw this place. I was gobsmacked at the variety and was like, "How on Earth 🌍 did I missed this place?!?"

The moment I walked in, the owner mentioned they opened in November. It still doesn't explain my tunnel vision; last time I was walking up along Johnson was mid-December so no excuse. I still missed the place during holiday season rush.

Well, now I know where I am going to burn a hole in my wallet. Just when I swore off that I am done with getting more indoor plants after Lunar New Year, this place twisted my arm good with their huge selection for a reasonable price (you're not going to get cheap bargain but excellent value; decently priced for top quality healthily cared for plants).

First visit, I caved to purchasing a Pepperoma Pepperface which I named Peppy v2.0 (backstory: original Peppy was bought from Langford Quality Food 3 years ago which was same height and doubled in size through my care until the ex breakup, refused to give my plant back which is long dead under his care) and some lovely bonsai accessories for my lovely but temperamental ginseng Ficus bonsai. How can an anime aficionado say no to bridges as well as glow in the dark log with 3 Kodama?

The owner took great care to have everything paper wrapped and carefully placed in a paper bag in which he stapled shut. Now that is what I call exceptional customer service beyond expectations! While I was walking around, he greeted the plentiful customers one by one, and jumped to the gun the name of the plants and their care tips, asking each customer their needs, and telling pet owners which plants in the store to absolutely avoid.

I thanked the guy that I will return. He said his store will stock special plant lights which my fickle bonsai (which I will name Mr. Fickle) needs (dropping a few leaves because my brightest window is not providing full sun that it needs) plus there are many other plant varieties I may cave into purchasing because the plants varieties are too unique and certain lower light kinds will do wonderous in my home.

When I left the store, I read up this place moved from Edmonton to Victoria, and only one review was Victoria-based since its move. Well, let me change that. ✅

Now I just have to relocate Peppy v2.0 to my home office desk and marvel my bonsai with much love and good luck with the decorations 💜

This cute little plant store is wonderful! The plants all look so vibrant and healthy and the prices are comparable/better than larger chain stores. The staff I've met so far have also been really helpful, offering care instructions and advice. Really love this place!
