Lovely place ! Chris is very friendly, he showed up around and we were able to pet a few animals. They are easy to approach. They have honey and maple syrup to sale as well. My 3 year old had fun 😀

I went there for Maple in the County. Love their selection of honey. Especially the raw, unpasteurized honey which is hard to find.

If you haven’t already been fully immersed in the incredible world of bees, a visit with Chris at 127 Bees at Loah Farms will truly be one of most unique and wonderful experiences of your life. It’s difficult to think of anyone with the same combination of knowledge, passion and command for his subject as Chris has and yet he still lets the bees themselves be the stars of the show. They are mesmerizing and, surprisingly, incredibly calming. We defy anyone to come away without a new-found or deeper love for them, and for nature as a whole. It is completely safe, too. By the end of our visit even one of our daughters who is terrified of insects was ‘part of the hive’. Chris is the consummate host, charming in every way, and his farm is a visual adventure. And all of this is without even mentioning the honey! You only think you’ve tasted honey before now. We cannot recommend a visit to 127 Bees more highly.

Went for a beer tour with Chris Armstrong. He's extremely knowledgeable and happy to share his experience on his farm. We spent a chunk of time going over a hive, finding the queen, inspecting the frame, various cells and functions of each bee inside the hive.

After, spent time removing the wax off the frames we cracked, spun and jarred the honey to learn about the process.

This was our first time doing this, and my wife and I had a great time. Thanks Chris!
