A very nice, clean grocery store. The fruits and vegetables were very fresh and stocked. Not overly busy which was nice. All of the aisles and food sections were very neat and tidy. Whomever manages/owns this location runs a very tight ship.

As it was my first time in a Longo’s I was quite impressed. It would be nice to have a store in my part of the Hamilton Mountain to give a little bit of competition to the local Fortino’s as their prices run a little high.

Overall a very nice grocery store. The Starbucks adds a little Oakville flair much needed in Hamilton.

This is my favourite grocery store in all of Oakville. It’s clean, organized and inviting. Produce is always fresh and well displayed. The Meat department is by far the best in comparison to meat departments in other grocery stores. It’s fresh and the quality is great but it’s the staff that make me want to come back. I want to give a shout out to Sharon, she’s friendly, helpful and she knows her meat! Sharon prepares my weekly order, it’s always accurate and ready for pick up upon my arrival. Overall, the staff are friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Paulo the manager interacts with customers regularly and makes sure they’re satisfied, his customer service skills are excellent! I’ve never had a negative experience and will continue to shop at this Longos location.

Thinktank

Had my kid’s birthday party here and it was the hands down the most stress free setup. All kids made pancakes from scratch and fruit kabobs, decorated cupcakes to take home. It was a hit with everyone! Host Holly and her assistant Seth were most magnificent! They were super organized and kept the party running smoothly with over 15 kids.

i am a fortinos guy; (been shopping there ongoing since 1989 as a 14-yr old) however i will give this a fair, objective review of longo's grocery store @ cornwall rd, oakville.

the longo's location has good parking and is very well kept, inside and out. signage and design inside the store has a warm, european feel to it, much like fortinos would.

positives:
-good selection of commodity grocery items, fantastic produce and good quality hot food items. i would give longo's the edge over fortinos when it comes to produce quality. ?
-store has a hot food and fresh bakery section.
-cold beer and limited coolers up for grabs.
-friendly staff overall, in all my shopping experiences at the store. willing to go that extra step for you. good representation of what longo's strives to be about in terms of customer service, in terms of "treating you like family". ?

drawbacks:
-good selection of items, although not as expansive as fortinos.
-prices here are higher overall than a typical grocery store. prices imo are relative to the affluent surrounding area of southeast oakville.

bottom line: i would use longo's again when i am in need to top up on fruits, vegetables and some groceries when i am tight with time between (overtime) shifts at work, before going home to hamilton.

On Saturday, James in the deli took the time to recommend us and let us sample various cheeses and meats for our charcuterie board! He was very knowledgeable and our guests loved it. Will be back again!

Nice place. Lots variety of everything, its very well stocked. I'd go back here except for the fact that they are so expensive.l compared to fresh co or no frills for the daily essentials.

They have live lobsters and offer free steam service if you buy the large one.

I bought 2 large one for the Dinner, it’s pretty good, but little bit pricey, other grocery stores normally seeking for $14 per pound.
