We got our puppy Mochi from LunaNova in May 2025 and it was such a great experience. We had our name on the waitlist for a couple months (around Aug 2024). Carolynne is very communicative and shares so much material and resources from pamphlets, video series, articles, etc to really make you feel prepared for your puppy and their development. There’s also a Facebook group of all the litters that’s supportive and adorable - people do meetups, post pictures, ask questions, and share all things about their dogs. Would hands down recommend LunaNova to any/everyone🐶

If you’re wondering whether LunaNova is the right breeder for you—or if a Portuguese Water Dog is the right pup—the answer is an absolute yes! I don’t have a single negative thing to say. My experience with Carolynne was truly 10/10. She is a wonderful person who pours so much love, care, and thought into her dogs and her program.

From the moment we placed our deposit, following the week-by-week updates of our soon-to-be pup was such a special experience for our whole family. Living in Manitoba, we had to fly to Toronto to bring home our puppy, Griswold (from the Hunger Games litter), in May 2025. Carolynne made the process seamless and unforgettable. She never rushed us, gave us the time and confidence we needed, and made sure everything felt right before we caught our flight home.

Like any new puppy, those first few weeks had their challenges, but Carolynne was always quick to support and guide us through them. That support meant everything.

Now, Griswold is six months old, and he has been nothing but a joy. His personality is so unique, and his love for people is truly unconditional. He adores car rides, cuddles, and most of all—his kids. Every morning he proudly walks them to the bus and is right there to greet them when they return, creating memories we’ll treasure forever.

My only regret? That I didn’t bring home two!
