This was a smaller market when I visited last year, but it's definitely expanding. There's a lot of vendors selling fresh produce, artwork, jewelry, honey, and other businesses. Open only on Thursdays, with free entry and parking lot for the public. I liked the vendor that sold tea here, as the seller let us sip some samples to try. I see myself visiting the Farmer's market again whenever I visit the Lunenburg area on a Thursday!

Visited here in April, a smaller market at this time. It opens year round on Thursdays. Had lovely omelette breakfast at John’s omelette. My friend had their breakfast vegetarian sandwich and loved it. The Pakistan food next booth was also fresh and yummy. The cinnamon rolls at the entrance of the market was really good, it’s not only huge, also tasted like combinations of bread and croissant texture; the only thing is there it wasn’t buttery enough. Loved the Laughing Whale coffee as well, except there’s no credit card service if you want to buy larger quantities of beans. I also got some soaps from the Seaweed Soap company; the owner was passionate about her products; she explained the ingredients clearly. They are for regular wash, as well as for shampooing! I bought 4 of her top 5 sellers: pink lavender, Dead Sea sand & sandalwood, a soap with recipe from a medical doctor; can’t wait to try them! I wanted to get some dog treats, I was told that there’s a lady makes some yummy dog treats, too bad that she was not there this week. There’s also fisheries’ booth and Sea Dog hand bags that’s hand made by recycled sails. Happy to be here to see all the talents and support local businesses!

What a fun way to spend a summer's day. Lovely artisans, unique pieces, and the food trucks and sweets were great too. Looking forward to the Christmas market!

This is a really fun market. I visited the first time to get plants for my garden - beautiful and at a great price. (See Joyce Zinck!) I left with so much more. I wanted to support all the vendors. They were all super friendly and had beautiful local products to sell.
I regularly buy bread from Boulangerie La Vendéenne, coffee from Laughing Whale Coffee Roasters, beer from Tanner & Co Brewing, tea from Dougall Teas and soap from Seaweed Soap Company. I also buy a slice a gluten-free almond orange cake. I can't remember the vendor but you have to find that cake, gluten-free or not. It's amazing! With all of the food vendors on site you can have a full meal of your choosing - breakfast or lunch.
The market changes each week and by the season. It's always going to be worth it.

One of the best things about life in Lunenburg is the weekly (year-round!) Farmer’s Market!
Great food and locally created goods✨ plus it’s the social event of the week!
How does it get any better than this?!

Great organic local product all year round. In fall u can still get produce but as expected it slows down around Oct. It's a great price considering 7 dollars a pound for organic ground beef and man it's tasty. Bread l, cheese, product all great. If visiting and want some great food for your trip u need to go
