We worked with MacKay Landscape Design on a full design and installation that transformed our rough building lot to an incredibly beautiful and ecologically responsible landscape. Rosslyn’s extensive expertise of native plants and sustainable planting is impressive as is her attention to detail. What a wonderful, collaborative experience we have had working with Rosslyn MacKay as we have redesigned the gardens at the front and side of our century home.

From the first site visits throughout the garden consultation process, her willingness to learn and understand our vision resulted in a very cohesive design.

The AutoCAD planting plan and concept plans she produced were tremendously helpful in making final decisions, before Rosslyn took on the project management aspects.

Sustainability and ecologically appropriate design were very important for this project and at every step of the way, Rosslyn‘s knowledge, experience and deft guidance produced a graceful and pleasing outcome.

Rosslyn’s ability to collaborate with other contractors working on site was exemplary and I look forward to working with her on the next stages of our multi-year plan to redesign more of this Wolfville property and its gardens.

Rosslyn of MacKay Landscape Design is a creative designer and can work with varying landscapes, urban or rural, large or small. She has an in-depth knowledge of horticulture, especially of native plants. She has good spatial orientation when designing plant placement and makes knowledgeable decisions as to what to plant where for the longevity of your plants. She creates detailed garden plans and her drawings are easy to follow.
She is a joy to work with.
