I stopped in at The Meat King in Surrey today and was blown away by the quality and service. It’s part butcher shop, part pizza spot—and it does both incredibly well! I picked up some potato salad, wings, and fresh bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs to BBQ later. The owner personally cut the thighs for me on the spot and took the time to walk me through their different spices and rubs.

The service was outstanding—genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Prices were very fair, and the meat quality is top notch. You can tell that he really takes pride in what he does. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area.

I’ve been incredibly impressed with Meat King in Surrey! The service is always excellent — friendly, fast, and attentive. The variety of options is amazing, and everything is consistently fresh and high quality. The store is clean, well-organized, and has a great modern feel to it.

Always treated so well, friendly staff I was in today met Gary. My go to is wings, friends have picked up the marinated lamb lolipop, and marinated chicken thighs and loved it. Always fresh, and really tasty. Been a customer since this establishment opened. Been recommending to our friends and family. Won't pick up marinated meat anywhere but here.

Amazing new place! So nice and clean inside. The owner was very friendly. It's a one stop shop for pretty much everything! The pizza was perfect - flavorful and the crust was just right, soft and not too thick nor oily. If you like spicy food, you'll love the sriracha honey pizza and the tandoori chicken pasta, which was loaded with chicken and veggies. They also have veggie, vegan and gluten free options. Lots of appy options - my kid loved the waffle fries and they have mac & cheese wedges too! And dont forget dessert! They have a selection of sweet treats to choose from - 2 bite brownies, cookies, ice cream and even cotton candy. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning again soon 🙂

I'm updating my review from 5 stars to 4 due to inconsistency in the quality of their pizza dough.

My first order from this location, about two weeks ago, was excellent! The pizza was delicious, and the crust was perfectly textured: crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, just as it should be.

However, when I placed the same order again two days ago, the experience was quite different. The crust was hard, overly chewy, and noticeably thinner, with no rise or softness. I initially assumed it might have been a thin-crust variation made by mistake, but when I called the store, I was told it wasn’t supposed to be thin-crust. I was also informed that a different person had prepared the dough this time.

That was disappointing to hear. Quality and consistency should be maintained regardless of who is working in the kitchen.

To their credit, I was offered a complimentary pizza for my next order, which I appreciate. However, if the same issues persist, I may opt to skip the pizza entirely and stick to just purchasing meat instead.

Good service! Every item I tried was absolutely delicious! The taste truly speaks for itself—rich, fresh, and full of flavor. Honestly, the taste is worth more than the price.

Their chicken selection is great but the pizza was a huge let down. Tasted like generic pizza bland and flavourless. Looks alot better than it tastes. I will come back for the meat but won't be ordering pizza.

Overall Bad service!
Prices on the board was 5.99 for fries
They charge 8( when I asked they said price changed)
I had to ask for the ketchup(received an answer: I had to look in the back. Surprising not giving ketchup with fries)
Be polite with customers!
