Boards with historical information about Michel town. Very interesting.

Tourist information boards erected at the former location of the Michel Hotel just 5 minutes to the East of the town of Sparwood British Columbia on the Crowsnest Pass Hwy 3 paying tribute to the historic mining towns of Michel-Natal that housed thousands of coal miners in the early 1900's . The town's historic Hotel was the last building that remained standing and was sadly demolished in 2010.

It was a great hotel in rhe 80's but it needs to be renovated. In general, it was clean and neat. The breadfast is great. The customer service at the reception has the opportunity to be improved. The personal needs training.
