I did not know anything about mead until we came here for the first time in 2022!

We have come every summer since and enjoyed every single tasting.

They have incredible mead, and are super knowledgeable. We love being able to experience their passion for mead!

We always get a few bottles to take home and enjoy until our next summer trip!

My wife and I "accidently" stumbled into the meadery on our honeymoon, we had a great time, good drinks, a nice host and left with high spirits and a solid buzz. We just drank our last bottle of the Magick Mead back home in Germany with our loved ones and recommend anyone to grab a bottle as well.

I get to Middle Mountian Mead. They have a great view of the south east of Hornby Island. The servers and owners are knowledgeable and really make everyone feel welcome. My Go to boxes are the Magick Series, both regular and Black Magick. Always have a box on hand and lasts 6 months at least.

Had their mead tasting at the Fall Fair. Super good stuff. I don't always buy a bottle unless I really enjoy what I drink. I totally bought a bottle without hesitation. Very tasty.

Truly unbelievable experience, such beautiful grounds and view from the tasting deck but the mead itself was what made it so special! We went home with 4 bottles and will definitely be back again someday. Great service and overall awesome experience

Mead is one of those alcoholic beverages that deserves more recognition. I have tasted local meads from Coastal Black (Black Creek, BC) and Campbell's Meadery (Abbotsford, BC). I am glad to add Middle Mountain to the list of places I have had the pleasure of visiting. Parked a little ways up the hill, the garden and views were absolutely stunning. Jeff facilitated our tasting with a generous selection of samplings, even offering little tips I would never have thought of. We ended up buying a box of mead, Black Magic, which, when enjoyed with some sparkling water is absolutely divine. We also purchased a couple other bottles that we loved the most during the tasting. The view alone is worth the visit; however, the hospitality and mead make this a must-visit on Hornby in my humble opinion.
