Had a great experience with this business. I’ve got 90 birds in two different batches and haven’t lost one. Only issue so far has been one chick with what appeared to be aspergillosis, but we managed to save her with a lot of care. Each time I’ve ordered I have been contacted to see if I wanted an earlier shipment and their customer care has been great. 8 weeks in and smooth sailing.

I was going through the reviews and I have to say folks, I sniff bullshit. I think someone is review-bombing these guys

I never had any issues
Ordered Plymouth bard rocks, Cornish and miller browns, they always send one or two extra and they are always on the phone when I need them

If you are in the chicken business, these guys are the real deal. If you have some “politics” I don’t know about, then I don’t know what to say

Great company!!! I have ordered chicks many times over and have been happy every time. If I do have little issues I call in and the staff have been very lovely to deal with! I highly recommend them!

I would give negative if I could. This hatchery bought a Manitoban hatchery and is now shipping to Manitoba and not giving a crap About the chicks after they leave. They are being shipped in non climate controlled vehicles and are experiencing upwards of 50% death rates on arrival. I bought from the former hatchery for 15 years and never once had an issue. This year I had 80 doa out
Of 200 and out of the remaining 120 about 15% developed leg problems which is something I have never had issues with in the past. Talking to other local farmers and they all have had the same experience. They are still using the old hatcheries name for
Manitoba sales and I feel bad for the family they bought out having their good name dragged through the mud like this. Very disgusted.

Ordered 150 chicks and bought supplies and took time off work to receive them. Got one business hour of notice that I wouldn't be getting any, and would have to wait days for a credit card refund to process. They wouldn't e transfer me the money so I could at least have the funds to make an alternative purchase. They say "that's just the way it is."

Terrible customer service! I had to re-schedule an order which I did over the phone. The re-scheduling was confirmed and I chose a new hatch date for a few months later. A week later I got a call from the post office to pick up the chicks! Because I did not have a brooder set up and ready (and because miller has poor genetics) I lost over 20% of the birds in the first 2 weeks. I called costumer service and they refused to do anything about it. They referred me to their manager who would not return my calls. Finally they refunded me for 10 chicks. What a joke! This is not a good small family business! They are internationally owned and they are terrible! Do not purchase anything from this company! This is not my first bad experience with this company.

I had ordered through Miller a number of years with no issues. This year has been very different. I ordered 24 bronze turkey eggs of which 11 hatched and of the 11, 4 died a day later and 3 had leg issues, so 4 healthy chicks. Of the 13 that did NOT hatch, over half had dead chicks inside. I picked up the eggs March 26 and 24 days later they started hatching not 28 (odd) and about 2 hatched per day until the 28th, this indicated they came from multiple batches.
Now what is really troublesome is they have not replied to my emails that I sent days ago, showing poor customer service.
I have another order coming May 9th that THEY "rescheduled" to May 7th. Ive tried contacting them to keep it on May 9th but have still not heard anything back.
Poor customer service and poor quality of turkey eggs. This post will stay up until some sort of resolution has been made.

First time dealing with them and will never again! Lost 6 chicks in 5 days! Never ever had this happened before. Have an incubator full of turkey eggs and after reading reviews I don’t expect much . So heartbroken! It’s not cheap and I had to work very hard to save up for this so I can raise some meat for the family. Now what? The whole season is ruined!
I think you guys should spend some time to figure out why this is happening.
Very sorry to say that but you‘ve lost me as a customer for sure.
