The beach and playground area were good and fairly clean the only issue was the bathrooms weren't open and there were a lot of people there enjoying the area already. Then a group came in and stripped down to their underwear in front of my family to go swimming.

June 30th was a much better day. The beach was packed and everyone was having a blast.

Very well run municipal campground. Very nice location in beautiful surroundings. Stopped by on a leg of our western Canada road trip and was pleasantly surprised. Full hook ups for a reasonable price and a very helpful camp host. Thanks for the pleasant stay.

Great park next to it, with the floating island for some water fun, and their new splash pad is quite nice. You even get to step back into time with their old jungle gym equipment. My kids love the lighthouse slide.

We had a very short time at Minnedosa Beach Campground, leaving only 1 hour after arriving due to an insufficient electrical grid.

Unfortunately we booked site 25, which is a 30 amp electrical and water site. We booked this site specifically because we knew it was likely to be hot and wanted to use our A/C. When we arrived and plugged in our Power Watchdog EMS it tripped right away giving low voltage warnings. It was consistently reading 100v with some dips as low as 85v. The watchdog cuts power below 104v to prevent substantial damage to RV electronics and appliances.

I contacted the campground office, they were cordial and the manager came to check it out promptly. He mentioned that due to the site being at the end of the line and the full capacity of the park park that this was not an uncommon problem. The neighbour, who site 25 shares a pedestal with and I believe is a seasonal camper confirmed that they were experiencing the same issue.

We talked about a couple possible solutions but in the end we decided to find another spot for a couple nights. With voltage that low we didn’t want to risk damaging anything and we weren’t prepared to camp without power.

The staff handled the situation well and I realize this is not an uncommon problem in campgrounds. That said, I believe that as this problem was known, they should make it abundantly clear when booking the site that there is the possibility of issues with their power grid.

As the reservation was made through “Let’s Camp” they couldn’t issue a refund at the campground office and said I would have to contact the town of Minnedosa, which is understandably closed on the weekend.

It’s disappointing as the site was a great fit for our 2017 Apex Nano 19BHS and the campground amenities seemed great.That said I’m not sure if I would risk booking a site again just based on the campground not being able to deliver what is promised.

Well maintained Campground. It has everything you need to have fun and be comfortable. Bathrooms are fully functional and there are coin operated showers available. Beaches are a great spot to spend the day with the family. The kids can blow off extra steam at the large playground they have right near the beach.
