This place has changed hands and it’s no longer worth it. The staff’s different, the seats are falling apart, the portions seem chintzy for the price.

We ordered, weren’t served, and then asked to pay our bill that was in a way that we had already received and ate our meals.

I’ll give them that there was a large group while we were there, but this place used to have line ups and you could end up having to wait for a table. I never went to mondos with the expectation of fast service. I went there to enjoy a good breakfast and conversation with my company at the table.

Severely unimpressed with it all around.

I went there quite a few months ago and it was pretty decent however it seems recently it has changed hands and you can definitely tell the difference. Not at all worth the price.

Ordered a Reuben and the dispatcher called to let us know they were out, no worries we substituted for a burger instead. Well our order showed up and we got the most pitiful Reuben you'd ever seen, literally one tiny piece of meat, a half scrape of sauerkraut and that's it! And worse, the side was not with it so we paid over $22 for a measly sandwich and nothing else.

And buyer beware, although the way the menu is written you would assume the burgers all come with patties, the omelette burger does not in fact come with a patty it's just an omelet and lettuce on a bun.

Lastly, they make you pay extra for yam fries, they show up ice cold and you don't get the industry standard chipotle mayo dip with it. Don't waste your money here.

If I could give this experience 0 stars, I would.

Nice restaurant attached to hotel centrally located in town. Staff were friendly, food quality, price and selection typical but also includes breakfast/brunch options. Bit of some wait times however.

The food is absolutely dreadful. We are still not entirely sure what we were eating!. It was rather like hospital food where they serve you undistinguishable institutional food that is meant to nourish but not to tempt or please the palette. They served me a glass of skunky red wine to try to wash down the unappetizing mess on my plate. Two tiny hard baked potatoes.. mushy vegetables and what I presume to be an attempt at chicken cordon Bleu under a white.flour laden gluey sauce. It was probably the worst restaurant experience of my life. However.. the staff were nice and anxious that I said nothing. No one else was in there.. that should have spoken volumes. Not going again..but I wish them luck in sorting it out. Thr place is nice inside.. someone could make something out of it!

Very slow service.
Food was cold when it arrived. It took a long time for the food to arrive. All requests did not arrive to the table.
Getting the bill after was very slow. Slow enough that I had time to make this review.

Not sure where my review went but here we go again. Drinks came quick but took 15 min to receive cream for the coffee. From when we ordered it took 45 minutes to receive our food. So an hour from when we sat down. After that it took the waitress 35 min to check in with us but by that time we were ready to just go. The food was not worth the wait. Hollandaise sauce had no flavor which was sad:(. Never got asked how things were or if we needed anything. Left half the food on my plate. Washrooms were unusable. Meaning very disgusting. 1.5 hours for brunch is just too long.... would not recommend.

Really good food, I would give it five stars if the customer service improves a little bit. The reason why I say that is because I have to flag down the waitress/waiter to get refills on drinks or just simple things such as Ketchup or Hot Sauce for breakfast meals. If that improves a bit then I would be willing to rate this five stars 🙂

Update: Was here a second time and still noticed the service didn't improve. I hope they improve soon.
