Salofalk from CDN. He explained that the suppositories are difficult to remove from the foil packaging. He said that UK packaging was much easier to use but he prefers receiving from CDN as it arrives much sooner. Pt asked us to pass along feedback to manufacturer, he understands that we don't have control over the manufacturing process.

I have been using Salofalk 1000mg for 10 years for Ulcerative Colitis. Suddenly, the packaging has changed which makes it almost impossible for me to open the individual suppositories. First of all, there are no perforations to separate them, plus the tiny, tiny, tiny flap at the top which is SUPPOSED to assist in opening, is so incredibly small that I can't even get my finger nail in there (small female finger nails).

I have arthritis in my right hand and need to keep an Exacto knife in my bathroom to open the packages for me. Unless this is changes quickly, my specialist is giving me a few more options which I am considering. I still have 4.5 boxes that haven't even been opened yet, so I've still got 3 months worth of troubles.

This got a one star ONLY for the packaging. The product works fine.
