So far we have purchased baby turkeys and geese as well as our beautiful Maremma puppy from Tracy. We live in Red Deer County and Tracy and her boys were able to meet us in Pigeon Lake to save us a trip to their farm. It was great! The boys were so awesome and helped get everyone settled into our vehicle. Tracy has been wonderful at answering all of my questions. We will definitely be repeat clients!

Got my first eggs from them and had an amazing hatch rate! Got live ducks and they were amazing as well. Have got eggs a few times and in trying others with no success wouldn't go elsewhere when needed. Have since built my own flock with the originals from Tracy and have even got a few new roos to mix my colors! All healthy and beautiful! Highly recommend.

We rented a chick hatching kit from them and it was overall a really great experience for the kids and I.
My kids were so interested in the full process of setting up the incubator, candling the eggs to see what’s happening inside, and waiting for hatch. When our chick hatched they were so excited and loved caring for and playing with it.
The incubator was a little frustrating for us to figure out and fluctuated often, leading to some anxiety. We just got the one chick that hatched. But the owner is really good at replying to questions as we had them so that was nice. And she was flexible allowing us to have more time with the one chick we did get and kids loved watching it grow. We had some chicks that grew but didn’t hatch which was sad but we turned it into a learning experience for the kids and allowed them to take them out of their shells and to bury them.
Farm is a bit far so just be prepared for that.
Overall great experience, great learning and lots of fun when the chicks do hatch.

I have used New Beginnings for our dayhome egg hatching to teach the kids. We have done chicks and ducklings, the experience was wonderful. Tracy supplies everything to have the full experience. Tracy was super helpful throughout the whole process. She was there whenever I needed or had a questions or concerns. The farm is close and easy to access. They are super easy going. It’s amazing to have someone to provide a program like she has to help others understand the farming process. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend

Had a lovely morning at New Beginnings! Being shown all of the animals and the daily upkeep for the homestead was very informative, all my kids loved the whole experience.
It was an added layer of perfect that the beautiful lunch that was made for us was gluten AND dairy free! (Both me and my daughter have a dairy and gluten allergy)
It checked all the boxes for us, seeing the different enclosures for the different pigs, and what they need. My favorite was seeing her setup for hatching, and learning more about the different breeds of chicken. We will definitely be coming back for another class in the future. Highly recommend for any homeschoolers (or anyone really) looking to see the ins and outs of homesteading, and or to have an awesome feild trip 🙏💗

I can’t say enough good things about Tracy and her family. I have been doing business with Tracy for over 3 years and have enjoyed our chats each time I come by. She is very knowledgeable and willing share that knowledge. She truly loves her birds and animals. Her boys are also respectful and very polite. Even they have taught me things about the pigs. I am always impressed with her attention to cleanliness and making sure her new hatchlings are kept in the best condition. I plan on doing business with this family/ business for many more years.
