I had to go in there to pit my dog down. It was very hard on me but they made me feel as comfortable as possible and were very compassionate. Also i was in a money cruch and this was also my cheapest option. They let us stay with him in a private comfortable room and they did the cremation and will be returning ashes to me. I appreciate what you did for me and Winston.

I sadly had to bring my amazing dog of twelve years here, my girl Roxy could no longer walk or get up. She was having trouble eating and having the runs often .
I did not want to see her suffer anymore and become skin and bone etc.

The staff here were compassionate and kind, they understood the pain and were supportive. I am really grateful for the service which they provided. They offered everything the vet did at HALF the price.
I was even allowed to be with her to bring her comfort as she went.

Love the shelter truly been a big part of my life. Ever since I was a kid about 11 years old my dad would bring me around the shelter and ever since that day I new when I got older this is what I wanted too do save the animals. At age 20 my dad hired me he was my boss. For 11 years my father’s passed away January 2024. I still am an employee of the niagara SPCA worked with my brother Tyler for many years at the shelter and my aunt Amanda I’m truly blessed to be able to spend time with family like I did throw out the years. I am the only family member left at the Humane Society. I still love coming here every day. And a cherish all the moments that was given to me through the Niagara SPCA. thank you

I personally do not like the Welland SPCA. They do not conform to their own policies or procedures.
The volunteers though are amazing! They are the heart of the organization. To all the Volunteers here you are all amazing keep up the great work! These animals depend on you!
There are many animals up for adoption and they deserve a chance.
Its unfortunate there is so much politics attached to this particular SPCA!

Looking for a cat? This is the place for you! The meeting room is perfect for getting to know the cat that works for your family. The staff were friendly and helpful and patient. This place offered such a great experience for my family and our new addition!

Adopted a cat from here. Was told she was fixed, dewormed etc. The poor cat ended up being ravaged by worms. I had to pay $300 to take her to a vet and treat her. The vet said there was no way she was dewormed only 6 weeks ago. DON'T BELIEVE THEM.

I just picked up my new forever Argentine Dogo...dropped off after 4 years...of another home...she is doing awesome...the staff is so amazing there at the Welland SPCA 👍🌟...we love our rescue..Kona(pink)...❤️🐾
