The Norva centre is a quaint little art centre that can only be described as hidden gem. It is worth checking out especially if you are a lover of the arts.

They have displays that rotate throughout the year of both local and out of town artists of all kinds.

They hold classes and meet ups for artists and youth (you can do paint nights and also request parties if you don’t find one that is scheduled to suit your needs).

They have memberships you can join to help support their cause which allows you a safe, supportive and comfortable space to come and create art with likeminded people.

I haven’t yet joined but definitely plan to. I’ve checked it out and was very impressed with the warmth and welcoming gestures I’ve received. They’ve got art space, computers and a printer for use for those with memberships.

I especially love how supportive everyone seems- no gate keeping. Everyone truly wants everyone to succeed and it seems like the kind of community that’s right for me being new to the area.

They’re always looking for fun ways to diversify and add events and excitement to the art scene. Can’t ask for any better than that.
