We bought 31 cedars trees here. We got amazing help from the owner, who was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The man who delivered the trees was great - it took less time than thought, so we paid less. I would buy from them again without hesitation.

In March of this year (2021) I bought 7 cedar hedging trees from Numa Nursery. I purchased supplements ( bone meal, fertilizer) and followed the planting directions as best as I could. After a month I noticed that three of the trees were not doing well and called Numa Farms to ask for advice. Please note that I did not call to ask for a refund or replacement trees just for advice on what I could do. The discussion with Sharon could only be described as verbal abuse. I was told that I had to take responsibility for my inability to care for the trees and that all her trees were of healthy stock and none ever failed. I was talked to condescendingly and referred to as "young man" repeatedly although I am 68. Sharon proceeded to tell me she was going to "lecture" me and went on a tirade about how people don't know what they are doing with plants and she didn't have the time to deal with all these issues. The only part of this whole conversation I regret is that I put up with it and didn't hang up. In all my years I have never been subjected to such poor service. So what was the end result? Attached are the photos of he 7 trees as of today ( November 10/21). Clearly three of the trees have failed. Funny that although the trees were planted in the same fashion in a line the 4th and 5th trees have failed, the 6th tree is fine and the 7th has failed. The second photo depicts the cedar hedge I planted over 20 years ago which has survived quite well thank you very much. I'll let you decide if Numa is a worthwhile business to patronize, I won't be going back. I won't even drive down the road in front of the business. Worst case of service I have ever experienced.

Spend a decent amount of money here various times. I called back recently to get some advice after caterpillars appeared on my plants the same ones I noticed at their nursery. The owner did not want to help me and was extremely rude.
Not going back there again.
**Two starts for the lady that sold me the plants she was nice and informative but the owner is the complete opposite.

Went to the nursery today and took me an hour to get there. Wanted to inquire about cedar trees of different types for privacy. The lady I spoke to was rude, gave me wishy washy answers to my questions and told me to go online to get the information I was looking for. Very disappointed

Came to this nursery to find some cedar trees. The sales person helped us pick the best variety for us and she helped us with planting and care instructions. The plants were excellent, the prices were very good, and the experience was outstanding. I would recommend this business.

I have recently had the pleasure of visiting Numa Farms and throughly enjoyed my experience. I arrived on a rather busy day, and so was able to wander around looking at trees while waiting for staff to assist me. One man was filling quite a large order of young cedars and I overheard him admiring a beautiful draping magnolia - the owner, Sharon immediately gave him a bit of discount on that tree as he was apparently a repeat, long-term customer. He seemed pretty thrilled and soon left with his cedars and the magnolia. Sharon and I then had a long, informative conversation about the boxwoods I was purchasing - I learned alot about their care, nature, history all in a beautiful example of friendly customer service. Love this farm, love putting my money where it is appreciated!!

Sharon was really helpful on a special order of grasses and even saved me from making an expensive error in choosing the wrong plant for the Victoria climate. When picking them up, Laura filled my brain with planting and care tips. Great service from start to finish!
