I am writing to share feedback regarding a recent experience at Opal, my local cannabis store. I want to begin by noting that I have always had positive interactions with your staff—everyone has been fast, friendly, and consistently provides great product recommendations.

However, on my most recent visit, I purchased a disposable vape that unfortunately was not working. I returned to the store to request an exchange. While I did not have my receipt, I was able to provide the exact date and time of purchase and could verify the transaction through my bank records.

When I spoke with the front counter clerk, she expressed visible frustration with my request, stating that she does not like processing returns by locating invoices because “it takes up too much time.” She also suggested that I may have broken the vape by “pulling too hard,” adding that “no one has returned this product before.” Her comments made me feel as though my intentions were being questioned rather than supported as a valued customer.

I fully understand that returns can be inconvenient and take extra steps, but I believe that frustration of this nature should be directed to management, not the customer. The way it was communicated to me felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially given the circumstances.

I hope you take this feedback into account, as I continue to value Opal for its great products and helpful staff. My intention is not to criticize unnecessarily but to highlight an area where customer service could be improved to maintain the excellent reputation your store has built.

Went to this shop for the first time last Friday in preparation for a week long camping trip. Had 2 premium vapes recommended and purchased totalling nearly $100. Very disappointed in the products that were touted by the staff as being well made and having good battery/heat units, I was not given a receipt and both vapes had completely leaked through the battery and failed in the package from new. No smoky camping and no recourse for refund makes for a sad week in the bush 🙁 might give these guys another try as selection was good, but overall pretty disappointed in the experience or lack there-of.

best store ever!! I love this dispensary! the staff are so knowledgeable on different cannibinoids and got me into cbg, and are truly passionate and educated about their product. super great friendly vibes in there with great customer service. fun swag from their 420 event! Maddy and Nikki are awesome. this is my main shop from now on 😎

Maybe best cannabis shop in town they’re providing same stuff in very budget friendly price and their staff provide best suggestion ever i guess i really appreciate that also they always have some sales everyday so you can get best stuff from that list too ! THANK YOU !
