Parking on the street. Both my dad's truck and my car got tickets. Sign says I can park on this side of the street but got a ticket for it. We have a neighbor that calls bylaw from her speed dial. So now I parked all 5 vehicles on the road both sides. I'm waiting for badge number 4463 to come.

Michelle & Gladys were two lovely ladies that went above and beyond in assisting me with commissioning my affidavits this Friday afternoon.
My matter was time sensitive and in between my family, work, and home responsibilities, I rushed to City Hall to get my papers stamped.
I am so very grateful for the professional ease provided by Michelle & Gladys from City Hall today.

If you need to get your marriage license in the GTA, and you *CAN* go to Service Oshawa, do!! Rita, Ann(e?) and Maria all were part of a slightly-more-complicated-than-we-expected process — and made it easy, streamlined, and (honestly, not a sponsored ad) PLEASANT... and all seemed to be genuinely happy for us. Thank you!

We planned to have a civil ceremony over the Christmas holidays. The process was straight forward. They even had a computer and printer accessible at City Hall. The person who assisted us with our marriage license was fabulous, super helpful and friendly! Clearly there are lots of years of experience and she talked us through any potential pitfalls leading up to "the Day". The officiant, Dave Singh, was great. Talked us through what to expect. Dave was friendly and personable and lead a wonderful ceremony for our family to enjoy. The council chambers were clean, spacious and comfortable...able to accommodate all of our guests (up to 50). The chambers even had beautiful flowers set up. The time slot was the perfect length of time. We were able to take photos with our whole family without any rush.

Downtown is disgusting, trash is piling up everywhere. On top of that right now there is no hot and cold water in Downtown area for 16 hours. I don't even have words to describe the last part. Disgusting and Incompetent

Town of Oshawa needs to clean up their downtown core area. King street has too many homeless people begging for money as you are just trying to walk to a store or restaurant.

This city of Oshawa has some terrible people working there! I sent emails for three months now and nothing was done or looked into! 317 Celina st the house has been vacant for two years now and the new owner removed the rear wall of the building and homeless people have been living there for over four months! We called the police about this and they said the owner of the building has to call police to have them removed. Anyways it’s all bullshit! Last night the homeless drug addicts set the house on fire and destroy our neighbours houses as well

The original city hall building and council chambers were beautiful. John Gray let his ego get to him when he was mayor and he felt entitled to this ugly new building. This building is just one of the many scars Gray left on the city during his time as mayor. I hope an entirely new council is elected in October. Oshawa can't afford another 4 years of the current council. Attached is a picture of our beautiful original city hall.
