We stopped by here to get a bit of a walk and check out the surrounding area for any wildlife.
We saw some eagles and ospreys. It was pretty hot but was bearable with the wind. There’s no cover from the sun so keep that in mind. I would not do it on a hot day with no wind.

The eagle we saw caught a fish and was bring it back to its nest. We’re not sure if it had and baby eaglets. It was so amazing to see it flying by in full flight with the fish it caught!

The osprey was also flying back to its nest and they were a pair so possibly had babies in the nest. My wife got same incredible pictures of me of them flying by the nest!

A great place to walk around in and we did not see any today but we have seen a turtle here in the past. This trail is definitely worth a visit and a good way to get some exercise!

Absolutely gorgeous and scenic walk for humans and dogs alike. Our dog picked up a tick here, along with a heck of a lot of spear grass and cactus pricks. Maybe best without the pups - or cross over the bridge and walk along the dirt road instead! Lots of parts are overgrown. All in all, a stunning place to exist with nature and desert plants/wildflowers.

The SouthEast part of the Trail offers a 1.5 km stretch, making for a pleasant 3 km round trip. The gravel road along the canal is ideal for a walk, run or a bike ride, and it's also a fantastic place for birdwatching and wildlife spotting. The peaceful surroundings make it a lovely place to relax. Whether walking the dogs, watching birds, or simply soaking in the scenery, the Trail is a nice place to explore the unique biodiversity of the South Okanagan.
The North West part of the trail seems to go forever all the way to Oliver and beyond as it is part of International Hike and Bike Trail.

Great little spot to to go for a walk, birdwatch, ride a bike on the gravel road up or down the canal fish, critter spot
Take a lunch , snack what have you, picnic. No tables but you could find a spot for chairs or a blanket. Enjoy the peace.

Nice flat walk. Need to go early on hot days due to the lack of shade. Many species of birds to be found along the trail especially in the spring. Watch out for snakes.
