A lovely way to support our local farmers, beautiful cuts of meat, very friendly staff and a nice selection of veggies and seasonings! $55 got me a weeks worth of meat for my family of 3 plus a bone for my pup! Can’t wait to come back to try more items!

Very small shop, but terrific selection and wonderful service (on weekend evenings they have an angel working there! I'm sorry I didn't grab her name)
Price is fair considering it's local and fresh - comparable to major grocery stores, but muuuch better quality.
Noticed in stock today: (all local) cold pressed juices, frozen and fresh meat products, fresh herbs and vegetables and some fruit, fresh baked goods, dog treats, quail eggs, broth, kombucha, honey, jams, apple chips, potato chips, etc

When walking through the Hydrostone, we stumbled across this wonderful place and couldn't help but pop in. It is a bit tight for space but they've done an excellent job marking the floor for customers to follow COVID protocol. They also have hand sanitizer right inside the door which doesn't spray all over you like some others- it's the little things we appreciate sometimes! My husband was born and raised in England, and was so excited to see proper English bacon for sale! He's been in Canada - Ontario and NS - for over 10 years and has never seen it available. I'd love to upload a picture but we forgot because we were too excited to eat it. It was absolutely perfect. We also purchased two aged Denver steaks. We had never heard of them before, but they looked delicious. The staff were very knowledgeable about their products and walked us through where the cut is from and the best way to cook it. These steaks were excellent and we would drive the 40 minutes to buy them again. Excited to go back and try other products!!

I just wanted to know if they sell kangaroo because there’s a place down in Windsor and they sell that and crocodile and a bunch of other stuff

Very small space, but if you spend somw time perusing you will notice they have managed to create a panoply of local products. The staff are so friendly helpful, and the product is consistently wonderful! If ever in doubt about what a cut is, just ask.The counter staff are very knowledgeable and eager to talk meat if you show any interest. Keep up the great work folks!
