Best homegrown beef. The hamburger tastes like Prime Rib & the taste increases with each additional cut. With the price of meat these days, it's nice to know how it's raised & get quality that exceeds what you're paying at the big box grocers. That they also offer free range eggs is a bonus. They've completely spoiled me for eggs anywhere else. Call ahead, though, to avoid disappointment. They're so popular they can barely keep them in stock, although they bend over backwards to accommodate drop-ins. I'd give them 10 stars, if I was able. 😉

Hidden gem on a private island. I will comment on the eggs since its the only thing we bought. Fresh farm eggs with free range chickens running around. The owners are super nice people and accomadated us even when we arrived a few minutes after closing. Will definitely be trying the beef which is grown and raised on the farm. Will be a repeat customer for sure. Thanks.

We always support this local farm and buy eggs when we walk our dog on the island.

Friendly folks and eggs are less expansive than eggs from caged hens in our supermarket.

I highly recommend Painted River Farm for your beef and eggs. We have been ordering here for a few years. We place a big order in the fall and do a smaller oder in spring to get us through fall. It is great to support a local business. The farm is located at Barnston Island just a short ferry ride in Surrey. The beef has an incredible taste - Free range, organic and grass fed. They also have organic free range eggs for sale. The owners are very accommodating to make sure you get the cuts you want.
