We lost our florist less than a week away from our wedding. Pammet’s Flower shop seemed very polite on the phone and willing to work with our last minute budget that was not expected. When I went in to finalize the order, one staff member Caitlyn was amazing to deal with and even helped entertain my 5 month old so I could finalize everything! She was also super friendly and helpful! I believe I finalized my flower order with the manager who gave us an incredible deal, but made sure I didn’t forget that. I more less came in just wanting to purchase the flowers and everything we needed to make boutonnières, bouquets and corsages. She quickly seemed insulted when I just wanted the flowers and materials and stated that it isn’t as easy as one might think. I advised that our venue coordinator has made boutonnières in the past and my mom and aunt put together all of the flowers for my sister’s wedding that turned out beautifully. She insisted on making my bouquets, the corsages, and the grooms boutonniere after suggesting that I just don’t do boutonnières period. She seemed to get increasingly agitated and aggressive as the interaction went on. We ended up going over budget because she insisted on making the boutonniere for the groom, the corsages and the bouquets. Fine, whatever.
The day before the wedding comes and we had friends who were apart of the wedding pick up the flowers and bring them with them when they came to Port Hope where our wedding was. Things were so hectic, I didn’t see the flowers until after midnight and that’s when I noticed that they were not white and blue but white and DARK PURPLE! At this point there wasn’t anything we could do. I thought maybe I was crazy so I showed my wedding party and they all agreed that it was dark purple. That’s when I also noticed that the ribbons were just knots and not ribbons as discussed. At this point, we just went with it. I was assured that I would have enough flowers to make the remaining boutonnières and the 6 centrepieces, however after putting the boutonnières together there wasn’t any left for the centrepieces.
After the wedding, I called and sent an email with pictures and when I spoke to the manager, I got nothing but excuses…”they were blue when they left here”, she had the nerve to ask if someone swapped them out - like pardon? She said it could’ve been lighting….they were dark purple inside and outside. She said she wasn’t sure what she could do. At this point, there was nothing that could be done. My flowers were purple when the theme was blue and the wedding was over and my pictures will have the wrong colour flowers in them. Not to mention, there was lavender thrown in my bouquet as well…that’s also not blue. Will not be returning. Save your money and go elsewhere!

I’ve ordered flowers for my mom and had them delivered multiple times and they always deliver the most beautiful arrangement. I just give them a few colours or ideas and they always do so amazing. My mom loves them so much every time.

The staff were super helpful with designing a gorgeous floral arrangement. I’ll definitely be calling again for any flower needs. Fantastic service and gorgeous flowers!

I had a great experience at Pammett's! They have a beautiful selection of flowers and unique decor items. They also helped with my son's graduation boutonniere and a wrist corsage for his girlfriend, and everything turned out beautifully. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!

(This is a belated review from last year - but I wanted to express my thanks...) I live out of town, and I wanted to order a flower arrangement in a specific style. I called the store and they very patiently listened to me, and even looked through their online photo gallery with me, to get a good sense of what I wanted. The arrangement was delivered and it was exactly in line with my vision, beautiful quality and beautifully arranged. Beautiful flowers and very exceptional staff.
We needed a small bouquet of flowers for our friend and the two lovely ladies did such a beautiful job.
I am just sorry I did not get their names.
While they were working on the bouquet I remarked on their beautiful orchids and I told her about an issue I was having with mine at home. She asked a couple of questions then made a suggestion as to what she did with hers. When I got home I followed her advice and they are already looking better. Much appreciated
