I purchased 47 rolls of sod from this establishment yesterday. When I got home, every single roll was yellowing and some had mold growing on it already. I have bought sod many times from other establishments and the grass has always looked beautiful. When I called, the store manager said if there are any issues.. they would be replaced. Which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. The Sod had been baking in the sun since the previous morning when it is advised to be laying the sod within 6 hours. I went with their advice to lay it anyway and water it, but if it doesn't get any better.. I will hold them accountable and have them replace it. If everything works out fine, I would be happy to change my review.

I can only rate them based on their seasonal lawn care service.

We’ve used them for three years. The service is sub-par and has gotten progressively worse with each passing year.

Usually two or three guys show up and many times they couldn’t even be bothered to blow trimmings away. Grass is always long. If there’s weeds they’re ignored.

When you reach out to them by phone or email it takes weeks for a reply (weeks!).

The house is located in Welland. My house which uses another service in Niagara Falls, is twice as big a property, costs ten dollars less a week to maintain and looks immaculate each and every time.

I would not recommend them to anybody frankly. Total lack of customer service and transparency.

Called multiple times and they never answer.
Why have the need of a phone for a business if absolutely nobody picks it up?

I am not driving almost 45 minutes from where I live to get to a place that doesn't even answer a phone!
Canadian Tire is more helpful to be honest!

Love Paul's Garden Centre! Helpful staff, great assortment of plants, trees, shrubs. Plenty of garden decor for outside and inside. Flag stones, boulders, the list goes on and on. Amazing variety of concrete statuary. Best in the area. And they just received a shipment in of evergreens. A place to check out, you wont be disappointed!

Worth the drive to, the product selection here is incredible. Garden statues, monuments, decorative urns, angel gifts, unique solar garden lights, stained glass ornaments & very high quality plants! You’ve GOT to check this place out for hard-to-buy-for people!

Excellent customer service. I hadn't received a call back from another garden centre after waiting nearly 2 weeks. Decided to try Paul's. Someone actually answered the phone and I placed an order for topsoil delivery. Paul delivered it the next day. When I told my sister about the awesome service here, she placed an order the next day. This is where I will shop for all my gardening supplies from now on. Very satisfied with the service.

I would give this place more stars if I could. I reached out to a dozen greenhouses/garden centres in the Niagara region when I first decided I wanted to add plants/flowers/shrubs to my front yard. I knew little about gardening centres in the area, and even less about gardens. I received more help and support from Maggie than I thought possible. She called me within half an hour of my very general online question, and she spent at least an hour on the phone with me, answering all of my questions and helping me decide what would go where. She made recommendations that I never would have considered before talking to her. When I went to pick up my plants, they were simply beautiful... so healthy and well maintained. And everything was so much more affordable than I had seen advertised from big gardening centres! I planted them over the long weekend, and some are already close to blooming.

After this incredible experience, I can't imagine going anywhere else for any of my gardening needs. I've even had a few neighbours comment on how beautifully healthy they look, and they've made the trip to Paul's Garden Centre to fill their own plant beds too.
