We came as a family for the first time at Pefferlaw Creek Farms for the Maple Syrup Festival and what a treat! It was a great experience learning about the production of maple syrup through the tour and actually seeing how it's made. Tickets were $10/person, and parking was easy in an open-space. Dogs are welcome so we brought ours as well - he had a great time socializing with plenty of open space to run! Everyone was happy to taste authentic maple syrup. It's a great activity to do as a family - would love to come again next year!

a family owned operation that’s authentic, immersive and inspiring!

a lovely experience getting to tour and hear the owners of Pefferlaw Creek Farms walk you through their journey. Considering the sheer volume of sap needed to produce 1L of maple syrup, and that trees need to be at least 30+ years old really puts into perspective the amount of people and generations that go into this operation.

i recommend trying their pancake breakfast, its was great and they had live music. affordable and delicious!

the bourbon barrel aged maple syrup is without a doubt the best maple syrup i have ever tasted before. we loved it so much we got 4L for $125 which in our opinion is incredible reasonable.

to get the sap tour and taffy is 10$ per person, children under 12 are free.

I’d never tried maple taffy before, and wow, I’m hooked — it’s absolutely delicious! The tour was incredible: I learned so many things I never knew (we don’t have those trees in my country), and the food was out of this world. I’m a big but picky pancake fan, and I can say these are hands-down the best I’ve had in Canada — the syrup and sausages were next-level too! The live music was fantastic, setting the perfect vibe, but the real star? The service. Top-notch. If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience, you’ve got to visit this farm. Highly recommend!

Came here on the first day of maple syrup season to see their sugarbush, take a tour, try some syrups, and eat a pancake breakfast. And had a really great time. We’ve been to other sugarbush places and they each have something a little different. When we went, this one wasn’t overrun like others we’ve been too. It was cool to see the production equipment and sample their various syrups. They even had live music to entertain while eating pancakes and sausage and split pea soup. And use as much syrup as you want! It was worth the drive and we’d highly recommend!

Amazing! We came for the Maple Syrup Festival.
Just 35 minutes north ofToronto. The tour is very detailed, the pancake house has delicious pancakes AND sausages. We also had split pea soup that is a great addition to a cold day (also a vegan option).
Their bourbon maple syrup is a must.
They are family owned and operated, which makes us feel better to support a small business.

This is such a fun place to visit. Make sure to bring cash with you. They make fabulous maple syrup which is delicious!
I really enjoyed the guided tours. They have a gift shop, yummy breakfast, maple lolly pops, and a nice hiking trail. I went for the first time this March and I’m going again because it was so much fun. The family that runs the farm is very sweet, friendly, and welcoming.

Excellent experience. We were received by a warm family that run the farms and are nothing but respectful and amazing hosts. They explain the process of Maple syrup, give you a small tour around one of the bushes and offer you the chance to try all different syrups they made.

The price is simply cheap, which is what converts this place in unique. While they could take advantage and set high prices, they make it really affordable for such delicious delicatessen.
