Needs some ventilation. Any air movement would be nice in this building. Other than that it is a nice facility for just over 200 people.

We hosted our wedding reception here in July and it was great! The price was much more reasonable than other venues we looked at and you have access the bar area, kitchen, and sound system! There is a small playground and grassy area outside so the kids were occupied. Only downside is that you must do a quick clean up before you leave that night but we had many helpers put things away so it went fast and for the price we sure didn't mind doing a little bit of work. We had about 100 guests and we were easily able to seat everyone on the dining room side so that we could have the dance floor side totally free for dancing! We hired a DJ for music but the built-in sound system is available and is easy to use if you'd prefer to just plug an ipod in for music or use the wireless mic. Diane the caretaker was very helpful and let us come for tours through the hall for planning and was always available for our questions. I would recommend the Memorial Hall to anyone who is hosting a wedding or reunion or any event!

Memorial hall is a gathering place for the town of penhold. Its used for meetings, events, breakfast and dinners on special occasions. Today we were actually at the fire department next door photographing some fire trucks but we have been here here for volunteer appreciation events and pancake breafast for some of the precovid events. A bit small but for the size of penhold it works well. Its located on the west side of penhold near the tracks, south of the fas gas in the western housing area.
