« Un marché très agréable avec des stands incroyables. Le gars qui vendait les sauces était le meilleur pour moi. De belles œuvres d'art disponibles. Tous très uniques. Les fruits que nous avons achetés étaient bons, mais les fraises n'étaient pas très sucrées. La sauce est très bonne, elle a un bon piquant mais pas assez fort pour surprendre. Il y avait quatre saveurs différentes. Nous avons choisi ces dernières. »

Some awesome booths. Guy selling sauces there was the best for me. Nice crafts available. All quite unique. The fruit we bought was good but strawberries were not too sweet. The sauce is quite nice, has a nice kick of heat too. But not enough to over power the dish. There was four different flavors. We chose these.

If you are looking for an all white market, this is the place! No Indigenousization here! Settled smack in the middle of W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip) First Nation, you can be completely cut off from any and all contact with the beautiful people, arts, crafts, and teachings since time immemorial!

Good fair! Had many selections of various artisans and fresh produce as well as baked goods such as pies and even fried donuts! Only thing that was missing was the live music! Wish they had it this year! Nonetheless a much visit place to support your local community!

This is my favorite market and can't wait for opening day this year. I love the fresh food and assorted vendors. It reminds me of where I grew up on the farm in Ontario. The location is perfect but be prepared when it gets warm. It's all open and the sun can get to be alot. Go in the early morning. The smells are fantastic.

This is a lovely market although the farmers stalls are slightly decreased from previous years. Fresh baked goods and coffee are available, hand crafts, gift items, children's activity centre and live music. The location is close to washrooms and recycling is encouraged on the grounds. Parking is plentiful and everyone is in a good mood! Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been there this year. Don't forget Christmas shopping opportunities.

I have been attending this family-oriented market for the past 30 years to replenish my veggies, fish/meat, artisan food, flowers, and a variety of creative products including hats, jewelry, pottery, paintings, soaps, face cream, etc. I love the country atmosphere and being out in nature away from concrete, traffic, and cars. The market is set up on a short grass field with a stand of majestic fir trees providing shade if you need it. An eagle nests in one of the trees. I appreciate the exceptional variety and high quality of the products and food. The mood is upbeat with not-too-loud live music during the summer geared towards family, children, and friends. Chairs and tables are set up. This market is a great place to share a coffee and a baked goody with people you want to connect with. I also enjoy watching the well-behaved dogs that get into the vibe at the market. I think Peninsula Country Market is the best market of all of the markets in Victoria and on the Saanich Peninsula!
