Very upset and disappointed with the petunias and geraniums we purchased in May 2024. They were infected with powdery mildew. When I went back 2 weeks later I was treated very poorly. The owner was rude, walked away from me and started spraying his plants with a fungicide and then gave me the used bottle . He treated me as though it was my fault his plants had this fungicide. I was also told they don’t give refunds. Over 2 months later and 2 more bottles of fungicide I purchased, and I am still battling the mildew. I am devastated after spending a lot of money for many years on flowers there (ever since the nursery opened) and never should have been treated this way. These photos were taken today, 2 1/2 months after purchasing and consistently treating with fungicide. 😢. Follow up to nursery response - When I bought the flowers they did not look good at all. Unfortunately, the flowers were very limited at that time so I didn’t have much of a choice. I even mentioned this to the sales girl and asked if they allow refunds because the plants looked bad. I should have trusted my judgement and should have never purchased them. You sold me flowers with powdery mildew. You have lost a long term customer because you refuse to admit responsibility.

I came to the store and gave them the dimensions and price range and they laid out a beautiful arrangement of perennials for me. They even sketched it out as a suggested lay out. Super happy with the results!

The most beautiful family run nursery on the Peninsula. I could spend hours in their greenhouses. Owners are incredible at what they do and so full of knowledge about everything they sell.

We had purchased 3 Linden Trees in the Fall of 2024, which were very healthy & did well throughout the 2024/25 Winter months. Dustin is very knowledgeable about their stock, and was very helpful when we inquired about the trees. We always call The Blooming Lion Garden Centre as our first choice when we are seeking anything for our landscaping.

We always get great feedback and to be honest have never lost a tree, shrub or plant. Dustin, his family and the staff are so nice to deal with and do a fantastic job especially with such a short growing season. It’s an endless labour of love and their hard work shows.
