Order a side of beef from Penokean Hills as I have had their beef before and was happy with the quality.

We requested the loins to be dry aged for 30 days. After 2 weeks I got a call saying our order was ready for delivery. When I questioned how, they realized they cut the loins without aging so we had to wait for them to correct the issue. We waited over 2 months and every time I tried to call and make sure there was no issues I could never get an answer and was always told the person I needed to speak to was not available.

We requested 3/4" steaks. After receiving the order about half the steaks are less than 1/2" with almost every steaks being cut on such an angle the steak can't even cook evenly.

We requested a fattier side of beef and received probably the leanest beef I have had from Penokean Hills.

After paying for my order I was told I would receive the final receipt via email. I have called twice since then saying I have not received the receipt and was told the same excuse that the person I would need to talk to is not available.

Very unorganized and the quality is not there. Especially for $2400.

I purchased ribeye steaks, chorizo sausage (spicy) and ground beef at a Penokean Hills Farms Pop Up Trailor at Poutine Feast SSM. I cooked the ribeye to a medium-rare. I made a quick jus from the drippings. I am a Red Seal Chef by Trade and actually studied Butchery. The steak was delicious. I look forward to trying their other cuts of meat. They are also available at a local grocer downtown (City Meat Market)

Called ahead to make sure they could cut me a bone on rib steak. I was assured I could have one cut on the spot. Drove there from echo bay to find out they were sold out and nothing more until after Christmas. First time at the new building and leaving disappointed 🙁

Amazing beef but it's really hard to get in contact with someone. No one answers the phone or calls back after you leave a message. Love the taste of the beef, it's just frustrating when there is a lack of communication.
