First of all, I’m not normally the type who would write a Google review for a pet store but when it comes to Petland in Emerald Hills I had to make one. I’ve only been to this location twice but during my last visit the staff went above and beyond and I was really impressed with the customer service. My dogs ID tags went missing and the Petland staff had me in and out of the door with my custom dog tags within minutes.

Went in last week near closing time and spoke to an employee about some ich guard for one of our tanks. (Helped out and cleared up thanks). We ended up in a conversation about the pair of convict cichlids they had. Had a tank we were already building and needed something for it. Went in today and picked them up. Here’s them in their new home!

Just wanted to say thanks for the help and for the new fish glad we could help you rehome them.

I went to Petland on Thursday! I had great service from Montana! She was very friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. She answered every question flawlessly and I will 100% be coming back to see her. Best customer service I’ve ever had! She deserves a raise or a promotion!

Staff seem to be excellent. Prices are okay but not excellent like the staff. If you need help from someone go here. If you know what you want I can imagine you could find it cheaper elsewhere. I did. They do appear to have a wide selection which could also be useful.

I went to pet land today, while everything was nice clean and organized, the customer service could have been better. I went in to get some pet food and once I was done I went to the checkout. While in line there were 3 associates talking to each other and they did look my direction while I was in line. Unfortunately none of them came to the cash registers until I’m assuming a manager called them up to the cash registers. I understand talking with coworkers but if you see someone in line the waiting to check out you should definitely go help them.

Been in the last two days. Ended up taking home a beta the first day. He’s loving his new 10g space. The two employees that helped me were so kind and even put in a special plant order for me as I’ve been searching everywhere for surface plants. Today I came back to make the beta’s (now named Monty) space more comfortable and again everyone was so kind and helpful. Unlike petsmart, they are knowledgeable and make sure you know how to handle/care for whatever you’re purchasing properly. They are a little more pricey but I find the service and quality of items make that very much worth it. Thanks pet land! See you again soon. Pictures of Monty for tax.

Love this location! Walked in very clean and smelled good!animals were in clean habitats and had lots of care provided❣️ ended up bringing home a beautiful baby budgie ❣️❣️

Workers are very friendly here and always have a nice variety of furry and feathery critters, fish, and reptiles.
