We spent the weekend swimming in this lake, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was—much cleaner than other lakes I’ve visited recently. The water was clear enough to enjoy a comfortable swim, and the surrounding area was well-maintained.

We stayed overnight at the nearby trailer park, which was also impressively clean. The grounds were tidy, and there was a peaceful atmosphere throughout the evening. The trailer park also had a few convenient amenities, including a public playground, which was great for families with kids.

There was no shortage of things to do—we kept ourselves busy with boating and fishing throughout the day. Fishing was especially rewarding, with plenty of bass in the lake. It was a great mix of relaxation and outdoor fun, and we’re already planning to come back again.

Great boating, couple of sandbars and nice places to visit on all ends. Great fishing but quit weedy. Lots of wildlife to see and find.

Great lake with lots to see and do, has a couple of nice sandbars and places to dock up for the night if you do not want to stay in the locks. Always need to ensure following the red and green markers correctly as there have been several boats breaking props and driveshafts on one of the 3 sisters rock piles.

The lake seems to have gotten more weedy over the last several years but fishing seems to be pretty good still. And of course being part of the Trent Severn waterway, you can connect to multiple lakes.

Not good for boats and jetskis (will suck alot of weed and will require cleaning the jetpump often) specially if you're staying in one of the cottages that are facing a side river and not the main lake.

Very weedy and shallow for the most part

Nice lake lots of rocks on bottom that you will not even be aware of. Depth fluctuates everywhere. Lots of crappies in there and smaller walleye. Kids love the fishing.

Excellent fishing and boating with areas of the lake holding all types of fresh water fish. Bringing home a limit can be easy if you know where to go. I do however suggest a weekday for fishing as the pleasure boaters can be overwhelming during the summer weekends.

Always a great place to stay and visit with friends. Whether it is fishing or golfing or sitting around a fire pit in the evening talking and laughing. The hosts Lexy & Chris Kemp always make sure you are enjoying yourself at Riverside Lodge in Bobcaygeon.
