I am so impressed with the Campbell River Home Hardware store. They always have the products I need and at reasonable prices.
I always feel welcome in the store from the initial greeting to all the other staffs greetings along my shopping path. They go out of their way to come assist with any shopping questions to simply checking to see if I need a hand with anything.
I truly have never had a bad shopping experience here.

I purchased a raincheck item & didn’t realize until later that I’d been charged the regular price. My fault as well for not checking. I phoned two days later & spoke to Brent. He took my name & info & phoned back in about half an hour. He apologized & asked me to come back for a refund of the difference. Thanks to Brent & Kody for the great customer service!

I recently had a challenging situation with a previously purchased product. The front counter staff (Lanny Corley) provided excellent customer service. I eventually had to speak with the store manager ( Mike Benn) who reviewed my experience and ensured that I was a satisfied customer and that all issues were resolved successfully. I am a happy Home Hardware customer that tries to buy local when possible. Thanks again Lanny and Mike!

My first visit to Home Hardware since I moved to this area 2 years ago, and I have to say, I should've come much sooner. This is now my go-to local hardware store. All because of Al 😁 The other staff were very helpful as well, but Al seriously outdid himself. Home Hardware definitely has a great employee in this man.

Al was incredibly helpful, answered all my questions & then some, gave me logical recommendations which I went with, walked the store with me showing me where everything was, ordered in more items for me, made sure I got the generator I ordered paid for, and was overall just a really nice, decent, patient guy.

I must say, other employees here were also incredibly helpful when I needed to place orders over the phone. When some items were at zero in their warehouse - a freezer I wanted - they found me a decent alternative within the approximate price range very quickly. Hugely appreciated!

I've already spread the word to family & friends as well. Thank you to Al & all the other employees who helped me today. I shall be back. Again & again 😊

I've always been a loyal customer. Really appreciate that I can buy fasteners from their bulk bins. Prices often are better than the HD big guys

Good place to go for a variety of items that you normally wouldn't see together at one store. There is everything from paint and supplies to lumber ,kitchen gadgets and neat gift ideas .if you watch the flyer there Is really good deals on seasonal items. Staff has always been helpful and I have made a few returns without any issues over the years. The only drawback for me is that I quite often forget they are there and go to the other larger chain stores.
EDIT : the last time I was in shopping and looking around I was approached by what I guess was a manager and told that I had been there long enough and had to leave. Very rude and completely unprofessional. I was there maybe 20 minutes enjoying looking at the different items like I have always done for years. Completely caught me off guard and left me feeling like I needed to have a shower to scrub his nastiness from my person. The attitude was gross and unnecessary. Myself and my whole family not only were customers of the Home Hardware chain but also long time employees at another location. That being said it is sad that this location has unfortunately fell into the hands of some strange business practices, to shoo away customers who were trying to shop local . I will no longer patronize this location.

Got a new wheelbarrow. Always good talking to the staff, they always have good input. Also, I can buy a bag of nails or screws. Not a package of them.
