We love playful spirit. We have been using emily’s daycare services since my first was 12 months and plan to send our next baby there. Emily has so much fun with the kids and all the kids love her. My daughter literally shoves me out the door saying “bye bye mommy” on arrival. When it’s time for me to pick my daughter up she is always tearful. Emily makes fantastic meals for the kids. Her yard and play space is unbelievable, a child’s heaven. I love that Emily teaches the kinder music curriculum to all daycare children and also teaches them about gardening in her very own garden. Emily has chickens and ducks and the children love collecting the eggs.

Emily is amazing with the kids, I attended her Kindermusik class with my oldest child for about a year. He loved going and looked forward to it each week. She has an amazing play space for the kids in her yard. Emily is great with the kids and I love that she incorporates sign language into her classes.

We had an excellent experience at Playful Spirit Daycare for the 6 months my son attended. Emily has an impressive ECE background with years of experience, and her passion for working with children really shows. The musical instruments, open ended toys, ducks and chickens, mud kitchen, playground, art station, montessori/waldorf-inspired equipment, homecooked meals, the large outdoor space, vegetable/berry garden, rain or shine outdoor play, (I could go on and on!) create the ideal child care setting.
As a parent I always felt safe leaving my son in her care. I appreciated her updates and pictures throughout the day. I highly recommend this Daycare to parents in Campbell River!

My son & I loved Emily @ playful spirit daycare, she was so good with my son. Always doing activities, music, arts & crafts, or working on development. She’s very good with the kids & Connor had a ton of fun there.

Emily is a fun and energetic person that loves working with children. I have taken my daughter to several of her kindermusik classes and some drop in daycare times, and she was amazing with her. I wish I lived closer so I could use Emily more often! I have also used her for facepainting, and she is very good with kids of all ages! (Even adults)

I have known the Principal Emily Goodwin for a few years, both within the Playful Spirit business and personally. I am a birth to school age photographer and my life, my love and my friends all have young children and I know how respected Playful Spirit is amongst parents. I have also been involved in some of her sessions and love it! They are fun, they are musical and educational. Emily's peaceful management of these young people is amazing!

Emily is amazing with the kids. My son goes here and absolutely loves it. They spent a great amount of time outside in the fresh air and playing it wonderful. He loves all the music and instruments. I would highly recommend Emily!
