I just visited Popowich Meat for the first time and received the best service and advice. I wanted to do my first brisket ever on the smoker and felt like such a rookie going in. They made me feel so comfortable and so didn’t hesitate to give them an order. Even gave me butcher paper as to save me from buying a huge roll later. I am super impressed with the knowledge and expertise. Will be back for sure! Thank you!

Nice having a local butcher. Every thing i have picked up there is great, wide selection.

Update:
Have been shopping here for over a year, staff have got to know me and and always have a friendly greeting for me. All the cuts I have picked up are first rate. I bring in a recipe and they custom cut meat for each recipe.

It should be noted that you get what you pay for and having said that it is not a discount butcher but a fine AAA butcher.

This family owned butcher shop sells high-quality meats, delicious homemade baguettes, and a range of other products. The staff are excellent, and the products and services are top-notch. As a sidenote, our son’s dog loves their smoked dog bones!

Delicious flank steak tonight from our favourite butcher. Super friendly and always helpful with the cooking techniques. We have preordered brisket and beef ribs and have never been disappointed. They sell everything you need to make a complete meal and love that they support other small businesses. Bon ton cookies are great!

If you’re looking for the best tasting, highest quality, and unbelievable selection of local meat and prepared hors de oeuvres, this is is the perfect place to find all of that along with the knowledgeable and friendly staff and butchers make it place to visit on the weekly! Can’t recommend enough!
