I don't know what you did but these used to be the best tasting treats on earth and now they are unrecognizable. They taste completely different - in fact they almost have NO taste. What did you do to the crust Why did you change the recipe It's actually a travesty as these literally were some of the tastiest things on planet earth and now we will never buy them again. TRULY UPSETTING.

These are NOT BUTTER TARTS! They are made with margarine. FALSE ADVERTISING THAT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED!!!! From the first bite, I could tell something was different. When I checked the package, sure enough NO BUTTER!! I shouldn’t have to check the ingredients to see if butter tarts have butter in them!! They taste good, but not great. Pastry is better than most and I like the fact they use brown sugar and other corn syrup, but no butter Come on!! We’re not all vegan or vegetarian.

My mother made the best butter tarts ever, because she putting TLC. Rachel's comes next. Delicious, lots of flavoring. I would travel to Trenton to get them.

Used to buy these tarts frequently but lately the crust is thick and bland, the filling although not runny, it tastes wet (watery). We will stop buying, I think they lost the original recipe.

Used to be only a Rachel’s tart buyer. Not so much anymore. Since they moved to Trenton, I think the original recipe got left in Stirling. Lots of pastry and about half the filling than before. Don’t think we will be buying many more. Sad to say but true.
