Went to get paint. They made up stain instead of paint, including 1 that was the wrong colour. I sadly noticed the mistake after paying. When I brought it to their attention I was told to come back during the week and speak to the manager as they are the ones who can give a refund. Turned out that was incorrect. Terrible customer service.... buyer beware, you will end up paying for their mistake.

For this experience only regarding my purchase of a troy-bilt lawn mower. I purchased on 04/16/24 Used less than a half hour and it stop working so I called to the store to return it but was told so would not take it but take to a repair shop where they tell me the transmission is gone and that mower was not a 2024 model but a 2022 model so it must have been in the store for 2 to 3 years. All I want is to get my money back an I will never buy another piece of lawn equipment from refuse store again. As far the rest of the store products I have no problem with.

I shop here very often,mostly for paint and other job materials. The girls in the paint department are excellent, they've trained well in the various paints and accessories and are always ready and willing to look after all your needs in the painting realm. 6 stars out of 5.
Plumbing and electrical are equally helpful. Overall, this is a great hardware and accessories store with excellent staff that goes above and beyond to help.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Home Hardware in Wolfville and was absolutely impressed by the expertise of Torri at the paint counter. Her skill in color matching is unparalleled! With only minimal information to go on, she expertly matched the exact colors I needed. Her friendly service and keen eye for detail made my shopping experience delightful. Highly recommend asking for Torri if you're in need of any paint advice or services!

I was there for soils, and they had what I wanted but the prices were crazy $6 for organic soil that would usually be $3-$4. But staff was helpful,got my soil loaded and on my way.

Came into the store to shop bbq .
immediate excellent service combined with $15. delivery not just same day but we had to hurry our walk home to get there in time for the delivery.
