Attended the 4-year anniversary event at The Rare Butcher Shop and it did not disappoint. The team put on an amazing celebration — great atmosphere, solid energy, and you could tell they really care about what they do. Picked up 4 big sirloin steaks and tried them out tonight... phenomenal. You can taste the quality. Very happy with everything — congrats on 4 years and many more ahead. Highly recommend.

I normally don’t make reviews unless service is really good or really bad.
Let me tell you about how great this place is.
The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and super easy to talk to.
The quality of the food is 10/10 good and is priced very fair for the quality you get!
If you are looking for your next dinner, stop in and ask the guys behind the counter what they’d recommend if you are unsure.
This is my favourite weekly grocery stop.

I’m absolutely obsessed with the ribeye from Rare Butcher—it’s perfection every single time! The quality is unmatched, and it always tastes so damn good. The staff is amazing, super helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do. If you’re a steak lover, this is the place to go!

I went to Rare for the first time ever. I bought their chicken drumsticks. They smelt like rotten eggs, they were grey in color. I so no recommend coming here. I will not be returning.

I was impressed at their selection of meats. The staff was helpful and explained different cuts, he also didn't try to upsell me. Even recommended not buying steak spices and stick to salt and pepper for the quality cut of meat. I will definitely go again to treat myself.

Pricy but definitely has the quality to back it up. The steaks were very tender and tasted great with just salt pepper and butter.

This is our second time going to rare butcher shop. The first time was amazing, perfect order. The second time was absolutely terrible. We asked for 4 prime tenderloin steaks seasoned in Montreal steak spice. They gave us triple A and not seasoned at all. We didn't notice until we went to cook it of course as it was all wrapped up when they gave it to us. Extremely disappointed as we invited some special guests to our house for these amazing steaks we had last time that were not perfect at all. Not sure if we will return here again as clearly they messed up hard-core. Check your orders people. Don't trust a closed package.

Prices were absolutely through the roof expensive I paid 80 dollars for 3 small by strips. And to top it off they were very fatty and tough. It’s a shame to be honest the prices are easily double the price of any other butcher.
