As a Black & Queer Equestrian, I haven encountered few barns that welcomed me with love, safety, and respect. Redwood is one of the only barns I’ve ridden at where I am NOT the token racial minority. Social politics aside, Soph & Abdullah have treated me like family since day one. They have challenged me to be a better equestrian, and I have seen immense improvements in my performance. They are knowledgeable and insightful; providing me with so much wisdom that I will carry through my equestrian career.

My daughter has been to many barns, and not one has treated her like she belonged or was part of the team. Here Soph and Abdulla welcomed her and allowed her to join their family and show team as a new rider and allowed her to expand on her riding skills without hesitation. Redwood is my daughters second family. Soph and Abdulla are great coaches and really work hard to make the best out of each rider.

They are such a Amzing barn they always give us happiness they are such great coaches and give u so many opportunities I recommend this barn for boarders and riders they are so kind and take care of there horses so well💗 they have so many different options of horses for u to ride just in general the best barn and experience I have ever had💜

My daughter and I have been to many barns in the past few years, but Redwood Stables is by far the most enjoyable barn we have been to. It has the most welcoming, friendly, warm and positive environment. The owners, Sophia and Abdulla, are amazing. Their coaching is incredible; they are always so positive and encouraging with their students and make the lessons so much fun. They provide so much opportunity for riding: off property schooling, a show team and trail riding, to name a few.

Sophia helped us purchase a horse for my daughter recently and she found her the most perfect match. Our new horse is boarded at Redwood and he needed extra attention and care when we first purchased him. Sophia dedicated so much of her own time to our horse. She was always available at all hours of the day and night to answer questions or provide care; sometimes even checking on him in the early hours of the morning. I cannot recommend Redwood enough to horse owners and riders of all ages. We are so happy to be a part of this wonderful barn.

This is an amazing barn. I highly recommend! Lots of opportunities for any riding level or discipline. There are beautiful trails nearby and there is an indoor and outdoor arena. The coaches are great and it's a very relaxed atmosphere.

The most welcoming, diverse and equitable barn I have had the pleasure of riding at. I board my horses at this facility, and they are cared for like Kings and Queens. During the recent power outage, owners were filling waters by hand, in the freezing rain and snow, checking that everyone was warm and cozy, and ensuring that owners were kept up to date on their horses care. Open, transparent and honest, with heated washroom! Boarder tack room is brand new. All the bells and whistles, Bemer, outdoor is huge, XCountry field, tons of hacking, puppies, and the squishiest barn cats. Don't sleep on this barn, 50 minutes from Toronto, great location and amazing amazing, excellent owners.

this barn is honestly very high quality. Friendly staff, amazing horses and good teaching. This barn is definitely a 10/10 and I think this barn is the best in the area. the coaches and staff are very caring and actually care about the riders. Lots of opportunities for learning at this barn. Many horses to try and a good place to board your horse. seriously would recommend

Redwood is amazing! I’ve never met anyone more committed to the care of horses. This farm is a special place and full of gentle animals! The coaches are very personable and good hearted people and accepting of all! All the horses are kept so healthy and happy! Highly recommend this place!
