Been coming to see Ryan since the beginning! The best quality and he is the best person and butcher! Great quality products! Nothing like his steak and lobsters... and.if you're lucky enough to try it, his stuffed potatoes!!

We’ve eaten at the restaurant and purchased smaller orders before. The quality is always top. This year we have Ryan cater some delights for my birthday. Everyone asked where the meat came from. Reasonably priced for such good quality thanks Ryan (and his mom)!!

Wow My wife and I came in for lunch we had the beef brisket sandwich and fries. Ryan told us we didn't need a dip and boy was he not lying. He even went out of his way to make me a gravy. The food was incredible. Will be coming back for sure.

Stopped in today to find out RFG meats does not one but two lunch specials every Friday and Saturday.
I had the Philly cheesesteak and honestly I was left speechless and very full. So fresh, and so much flavor. Once you have one bite you can't stop.
Cute little patio and he has beer on tap and a wine selection!! Big TV and watched the Olympics. Coolest vibe and honestly the BEST lunch I've had in a long time. We are lucky to have this little gem in Okotoks.

I was looking for a new butcher closer to our home, and hoped this butcher would be ours unfortunately we are still in search of a new butcher and using butcher from Calgary. The first purchase of ground beef disappointed, it was flakey and had water... I had to wait for a while to evaporate it. Maybe there're other meat cuts that are great but since ground beef is the majority in my family dish we won't continue purchasing there. We have our current butcher with disclosed price per pound and I was surprised to hear from RFG that he doesn't know how much his meat is per pound. And $9 per pound ground beef is a bit overpriced for its quality like in any grocery stores that I could get a cheaper price with GST.

Everything we’ve ordered from beef ribs to brisket to Hutterite eggs to huge shrimp and bacon wrapped scallops have been perfection!

We have been going to R.F.G. since it opened. I get all my seafood there and wouldn’t go anywhere else! I regularly get my salmon fillets there and they are SO much better than any store bought salmon. The scallops are also awesome. I recently bought a bag of the red Argentine shrimp and we couldn’t get over how delicious they were. I’ll never buy frozen shrimp from the grocery store again! So worth it:)

Ryan is a pleasure to deal with. Anytime we've gotten meat from him the portions are generous, the quality amazing and the prices are good. We're fortunate to have RFG in Okotoks!
