What a beautiful garden centre! So much fun to walk through. They have so many different areas to see. It is vibrant and full of interesting products. The prices are reasonable. Besides loads of indoor & outdoor plants, giftware, pots, they also sell bulk soil, stones etc
They have a fabulous cafe! We had some delicious fresh pastries with our coffee. A buttertart, an almond crescent, and a blt breakfast sandwich. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have lots of parking too.

This is a great greenhouse, from the coffee to the plants there's lots available for you to enjoy. Personally I've had the privilege of having a nice coffee there but also most recently the owners allowed us to go in and take our wedding photos there. This was a beautiful location for them and our photos turned out amazing. Very appreciative to them for this beautiful location to capture pictures of our special day.

This my favourite nursery. They have an amazing selection of perennials, annuals, succulents, tropical and fruit trees. I got my 5 in 1 apple tree there 11 years ago and enjoy fresh apples off of it in the fall. The sales staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I recently went looking for their hummingbird hanging basket. I couldn't find it. I got one last year and once the hummingbirds found it. I always got to see hummingbirds. Anyways, the gentleman I asked knew exactly where they were and went and got 2 perfect ones for me. I also have a small garden on the one side of my home that I have been having trouble getting groundcover to take. The 2 staff members asked a lot of great questions and recommended 2 lovely plants.
They have everything there. Including a coffee shop (which was new to me) this year.
And I can't forget their bulk yard. Which has always had any soil or rock I have searched for over the years.

This place is absolutely huge! Every plant you could ever want will be here. The prices are reasonable and not super expensive. There is also a resident cat which might be the best part.

Rice Road Greenhouse is truly a gem, and my experience there over the past 30 years has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff and owners are fantastic, always creating a welcoming atmosphere. I appreciate how the young team members greet me with a smile and are eager to assist, showing a genuine commitment to customer service. If they’re ever unsure about something, they promptly consult with their senior colleagues, ensuring I get the right information.

A standout moment for me was last year when my boxwoods unfortunately died. A senior staff member took the time to help me select a substantial number of replacement plants, using an inspiration picture I brought along. Their expertise and willingness to help made the process smooth and enjoyable. Overall, Rice Road Greenhouse combines knowledgeable staff with a friendly environment, making it my go-to place for all my gardening needs. Highly recommended!

This year, I purchased all of my flowers and herbs from Rice Road Greenhouse. They've taken to their pots very nicely. I did find that the larger containers for plants are at the first sections of the greenhouse, while the smaller containers...and less expensive...are located towards the back of the greenhouses. There is a huge variety, and some of the large planters that are for sale are really beautiful!! Staff were VERY friendly and helpful.

My favourite nursery in the region. This is my go to in the spring and all season long. But what I really love about this place is that anytime I have questions on my plants, especially trees they are more than accommodating. Always ready to help.

This is a wonderful and VAST garden centre. A great place if you want to wander around with a friend and shop. Amazing perennials, a serene indigenous area organized by the benefit, a great tree selection, and a ton of fantastic staff. If you sneak all the way to the back you'll chickens, ducks, and peacocks! Definitely check it out.
