I have been processing my own harvest for several years and this year I just didn't feel like doing it. A great friend highly recommended that I bring my game to Rick's as he had used his services for years so I did. Richard was fantastic in getting my games weighted and hoisting it from my truck to the meat cooler. The turnaround time was fantastic and in 5 days I received a text from Rick that my game was processed and available for pick up. Caleb was great as he brought out my meat which were all professionally vacu-sealed and labeled. Seen a few recent reviews that a whitetail cost 1200, also cut with 60%pork, I don't know what their smoking! If you get your deer cut with 60 percent pork, deer hunting ain't for you! I bring my deer in skinned and quartered, 1/2 burger 1/2 sausage and it's about 250. Rick is awesome, runs a clean shop, clean cuts and makes damn good sausage for a fair price!

Had an issue with a bill for a deer my son and I took in and i wasnt happy, the owner rick called me right away and wanted to make it right we talked about how people may interpret the work order and how the pricing is on the sheet rick is going to make a simple change to make things very transparent to his customers and offered to give me more than I had brought in I’m very happy with this outcome and he was very professional about the whole situation, glad to see he’s taking care of the customer. I brought in an elk a couple of weeks ago. First, Rick was quick to reply to messages, which I appreciated. He also offers after-hours drop-off, which was one of the resons I decided to go with his shop.

When I dropped the elk off, like I said, it was after-hours. It smelled amazing (all the smoked meat), and the place was SPOTLESS. I've had my share of wild game butchers in the past who had shops that looked a little less than pristine, so this was a good sign.

I got a bunch of pepperoni, sausage, jerky, ground meat, steaks and roasts. In just under two weeks it was all ready, which suprised me!

The only things I haven't tried yet are the steaks and roasts, but they are what they are. The real difference is usually in the smoked/cured meat, and everything is amazing! I've shared with a couple hunting friends, and they're equally as impressed and will be taking their game to Rick.

This isn't the cheapest shop, but nor is it the most expensive. In my opinion, totally worth it, and I'll be going back every time from this point forward.

I dropped off my moose earlier this year and took a tour of the facility. First class facility, probably the nicest/cleanest facility with top of the line equipment that I have ever seen. Rick took time to give me the full tour and showed me all of the equipment and his process. I am now a month into enjoying the 4 different types of sausages that I picked and am thoroughly impressed. Professional looking product that is delicious, everyone that has tried them loves them.

Second time taking my venison there. We always debone, cut and bag it ourselves so this was simple for sausage and jerky. Got the honey garlic frying sausage, cheddar smokies (no bacon), honey garlic pepperoni sticks, and both regular and teriyaki jerky made. All sausage cut with beef and not pork.

Some of the best sausages I've had. Tasty tasty tasty. Well flavoured. Well smoked for the sticks and smokies. Will be going again.
