I cannot say enough good things about the team at River Road! I called them late on a Friday afternoon about my dog who was having severe tremors, and they were more than willing to help immediately - even though he's not a patient of the clinic. They ensured both him and I felt comfortable and did everything they could do figure out what was going on with him. Dr. Kelly was knowledgeable, friendly and calm in letting us know what was happening and the next steps. Luckily, little Cooper turned out to be ok and is ready to celebrate his 1st birthday this week! Thank you to the whole River Road team. 🙂

Made my pet and I feel very comfortable and explained everything in thorough detail, not leaving any guessing. Upfront about medicine, costs, and your pets overall health. My cat is my best Lil bud and I'm happy the people here show the same care and love that I show my own animal. Highly recommend as my cat also just had multiple teeth extractions recently. Very easy to set up and pick up my kitty, with clear medical instructions for post op. If you love your pet and not sure where to go, this place is a safe haven for all pets!

We would like to take this time to sincerely thank Dr Kelly and her assistant Erin for their warmth and compassion as we made our difficult decision to say goodbye to our sweet Cory girl. They were both very kind and supportive and didn’t rush us in anyway. The experience was indeed sad but very very peaceful.

I don’t think that 5 stars is high enough to give Dr. Kelly and her team. They truly went above and beyond for us and our guy. We had the dreaded Friday evening health scare and didn’t know what was wrong. We couldn’t get him in the car let alone have to drive to Barrie for an emergency veterinarian. But Dr.Kelly and her team were able to fit us in and help us getting our guy in. He was seen right away and that was really important to us and our guy, because we didn’t know what was happening or why. We could see he was scared too.

Dr.Kelly brought forth a calm, caring, knowledgeable energy into the room and into conversations, helping us humans and our dog feel at ease. Which really helped our stressful situation.

Without River Road Animal Hospital, our guy would’ve suffered in the drive to emergency the waiting at emergency, the stress at emergency, and that could’ve even made what he was going through through worse. We truly thank the whole team for going above and beyond for us.

With this I have to say, if you are looking for a veterinarian for your pet, or are in the area, and need veterinary care, I highly suggest you see Dr.Kelly to see what all veterinary care should model.
