I can't believe I haven't left a review before now. I have been buying from Rochon for years at Farmer's markets and this is my 2nd year of getting their CSA boxes delivered.
I am always happy with their produce and look forward to getting our weekly CSA box delivered. Their salad mix is so freaking good! It's the one thing I look forward to the most in the spring.

My family and I have been loyal customers for 6 years. We go every mothers day and this year I spent 200. 4 hanging baskets in total. 2 for my wife and 2 for my mother. We drive out of the way to buy them and are always happy with final product.
The day after I purchased them it began to rain. I noticed the red plants flowers wilted immediately when any water touched it. It was not raining hard and when I immediately put them under a covering to protect them. The the following days every single flower fell off that plant.
I reached out to them and told them that we loved their flowers and asked what happened. I explained that we have been loyal customers and I was hoping for an exchange or some advice to nurse it back to health.
The response I received was laughable. Basically telling me to Google how to properly care for the flowers and that they will not provide an exchange due to weather. It is clear to me that if both were in the same location and were equally rained on, something must be wrong with the red one.
The price has increased by 30% over the years and with such premium prices one would think they would stand behind their products. I'm extremely disappointed with them as I had grown to love going the see the greenhouse every spring.
Nice flowers. Terrible customer service. And zero loyalty to their customers. Avoid the greenhouse and do not support them at farmers markets. Ottawa has lots of other places to support.

The best place to pick up strawberries in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. The employees are always super courteous and nice. The fields amaze me every time I go, they are so clean and well maintained! So worth the drive!

Nothing but positive words for this farm, and their produce; we were buying from them at the farmers market in previous years, which was great, but when it became clear that 2020 was going to be a very different year we switched to the full share CSA box. We’ve received super fresh veggies and fruit, delivered to our door, every week, along with recipes and tips via email. Anything we can’t eat immediately has been squirrelled away for the winter months, so we’ll get to enjoy kale, cabbage, roasted peppers, scapes, rhubarb, and tomatoes even after the CSA season ends in October. Although the season for some things is painfully short (asparagus, strawberries, new potatoes) it has given us a new appreciation for them and how they are supposed to taste - our teenagers have been astounded that things like cucumber have a flavour, rather than just being watery and bland. We were also able to visit the farm in the spring and buy hanging baskets and planters, which were stunning - people actually stopped by to ask where they came from! Thank you, Rochon, for all of your dedication and hard work, and for the best berries and melons ever - we can’t wait to see you all again next year!
